This is our alternate book for those who don't have access to Firsts. I'm going to try and read both, but we'll see how it goes. Grace is pretty excited about this one! Happy reading everyone!

Miranda Kennedy | 71 comments I should have enough time to read both too!

Woohoo! I'm just hoping that I'm in the mood for both. I'm very much a mood reader, which is why I didn't read last month's book. Lol.

Miranda Kennedy | 71 comments I'm just finishing up my senior year of college so I just didn't have enough time but I graduate this Saturday so after that I should be all set to start reading again!

I can't wait to be done with high school in a couple months. Only took me eight fricken years. Long story.

Miranda Kennedy | 71 comments Oh boy that sounds like a rough time, I bet you'll be happy when that's all over!

Oh hell yeah. Then off to college. Maybe a break first, who knows.

Miranda Kennedy | 71 comments After that much time in high school I would definitely say you deserve a break

Okay, since I just finished my most anticipated May 3 release (A Court of Mist and Fury - you guys *have* to read it), I am going to start this book next :)

message 15: by Miranda (new)

Miranda Kennedy | 71 comments I'm starting it tomorrow!

My copy of ACOMAF comes tomorrow and because it's killing Grace, I must read it before anything else. ;)

Haha, I would be tempted to hold your book collection hostage until you finished ACOMAF...

I just hit 40% with this novel and I am enjoying it so far. The writing is simply gorgeous!

I really wouldn't be surprised if you locked me in a room with ACOMAF.

So, I just finished this book. It was a surprisingly quick read!

I enjoyed it, but I don't want to say too much since I doubt anybody else is finished.

YAY!

Serena (serenatx) Just finish this one, honestly I didn't love it... I gave it a 3 star rating. I found that the characters especially Ari were so one-dimensional and the whole poetry/philosophy thing was a bit cliche. I didn't hate it but I definitely thought it was quite flawed which is interesting because I know so many people love this book!

Hmm. Interesting. I wonder where I'll fall on the spectrum when I eventually get to it. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll be this month.

It's a pretty unremarkable plot, for sure, but it was a cute idea - and isn't that the entire point of the contemporary romance genre?

(I'm not biased against contemporary romance at all... *shady eyes*)

Lol. So hard to find a contemporary that you approve of.
