That's good, actually. I didn't read last night or today yet. I had an interview today and I was a nervous wreck. I just couldn't get into anything. I bombed the interview and now I'm depressed and want a nap, lol. I'll see how I feel afterwards :)

I have a question though - who are Eliza and Gabriel? Should I remember them from before? The names ring ZERO bells, so I'm not sure...

Still not sure I realize why Carou doesn't tell Akiva that Thiago is actually Ziri ..... why is she hiding this?

I think Eliza and Gabriel are just random humans. Well not exactly, there's something with Eliza but I don't know what yet. I'm not very far.

I think she's not telling him because she still feels betrayed by him and it's such a dangerous game they're playing with Ziri that she's just trying to keep it going.

I'm off tomorrow so I should be able to get pretty far.

yeah, Eliza definitely has some sort of paranormal - she dreamt of the angels... but we'll see what comes of that ...

So, I didn't remember that Ten was actually someone else. That she was killed and brought back. I don't even remember who Haxaya is/was? Was she the one who turned Madrigal into Thiago about her and Akiva? I just don't remember!! All these weird names, lol. (hide spoiler)]

I remember that she killed Ten and put someone in her body but i couldn't remember who it was!! Yeah - Haxaya rings ZERO bells... Hmmm im gonna try googling it :)

Looked it up:

Sometime in the past, Haxaya met fellow soldier Madrigal and befriended her. Her soul was eventually placed in a thurible, where she spent quite some time in stasis. It is revealed that Haxaya had also fought Liraz in a battle at Savvath, where Liraz killed the chimera in some awful way

When Zuzana Nováková first arrives at Karou's workshop, she randomly selects a thurible and excitedly presents it to her friend, hoping to try out a resurrection. This thurible later turns out to contain Haxaya's soul. Haxaya becomes of one the five soldiers to be resurrected while Karou has the help of Zuzana and Issa.

After Ten is killed by Issa's snakes, Haxaya's soul is placed inside the she-wolf's body by Karou. Haxaya learns about the whole situation from Karou, and is instructed to act as Ten.

Thanks! Although I still don't remember that part, lol. I mean I vaguely remember after your explanation. At least the choosing of the thurible and all that jazz, just not how Ten was killed. Oh well, lol. Too many books!

I was able to get quite a bit further yesterday. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to put up the many spoilers I had because I was at work. This book seems soo long and so much going on. When I think this must be the end, I look and nope, not even close!

Anyways @ 86% now and will finish this sucker today! Sorry for the misspelled words- Damn audio!!
(view spoiler)[ So when Ziri/Thiago was killed for the 2nd time I was so sad. I was hoping they would figure out a way to bring Ziri back and hopefully get his original body back too. I'm not sure how he'll ge the body back but it looks like Liraz (spelling?) was able to get his soul. When she was telling Karou about it and crying- oh, that broke my heart.

I'm still confused on a few things. The whole Stellion (again spelling?) story line is a bit confusing for me. Or maybe I was just too distracted to get the whole meaning of them. Also Eliza too. I heard the back story and her dreams but I'm still unsure exactly how she fits into all this besides a history lesson.

And the Misbegotten/Chimera(Sp?) group won the City back because Angels were falling from the sky. Is that because of the hunter things? The Stellions? This reminds me of The Raven King series where I listen and I'm in it at the moment but when I'm finished it's like a dream and I can't explain anything or really know what going on, lol.

I pushed through and finished it! This was my least favorite in the series. It just had too many random like things in it and seems like it's a set up for a new series maybe? Plus, it was too long!

Im almost done - at about 80% ... Yeah i know exactly what yyou mean!!! You put it perfectly!! Im in the moment, know what's going on, following the plot, but when i stop listening it's like waking up from a dream - i no longer get anything and everything is a blur!!

Ok so overall - huh?? Yeah , im not quite sure what the deal is with the queen (his grandma) and why they took Akiva but then decided to let him go back to be with Karou at the end...
Anyways - overall i think it was OK, but too long and bored me at times, so that i was zoned out more often than not! :)))

Yeah, it was too long and had a little too much other stuff in it. I mean I guess, in the end, it all fit but I don't feel like it was all necessary. It just made it longer and more confusing!

But at least we finished out the series! Lol.
