I just finished a book last night, so I can start this too.

I'm listening now. So it's a stalker situation.
A nut job who has access to numbing agent and can slit the throat of a perceived threat who is a trained guard. WOW

Yeah, it was a real surprise as to who it was, but the why was a typical one.

Want me to spoil it?
Does the daughter have aspbeeger syndrome? I feel like there is more than just panic attack or anxiety. The dad is weird

They never come out and say what the daughter has or why, just that she has panic attacks as a result of an anxiety disorder.
I constantly felt that the dad wasn't really close to the daughter, despite the fact that the mom died when the child was very young.
Ok. I finished and wouldn't have guessed him or her. The motives are like you said, unrequited love and of course money
I was proud of the daughter and her show of courage
For God fearing people, they lacked somethings in the way of communicating both with the dad, his dad and daughter

Yeah, the villains were a bit of a twist, which was different for me.

The daughter was amazing! How she overcame it all to help her dad was awesome! I loved the end, too, how she got an idea for career options even with her disorder, that was just cool!
The communication was a complete bust, and mostly unbelievable. Daughter being a teenager/pre-teen, lack of communication I could believe. Between the adults? Not so much.

This is one of my favorite Inspirational/Christian Fiction authors, and I agree, it wasn't that enjoyable. I'm going to check out the second book, see how that goes, before I decide if I am abandoning or not.

Heehee, you're welcome! I had to call my daughter when I read it, she loves the Divergent books and movies!
Someone told me it's a hoax. I am waiting for CNN to confirm. Oh please let it be true, oh please oh please

Oh, jeez! Here's where I got my info...
