Heya, Ezi, checking in! Hopefully, I'll have my library copy of this around the 10th or 15th at the latest!
My copy came in at the library early, and I have it until the 26th, so give me a shout when you want to read this!

I'm on chapter 7. This is different from other series I've read by Eason, and I'm not sure I like it yet. I can say that it has captured my interest though!
I wound up finishing this last night. Gonna let my thoughts gel a bit, then come back and review it.

Yeah, it was a real surprise as to who it was, but the why was a typical one.

I constantly felt that the dad wasn't really close to the daughter, despite the fact that the mom died when the child was very young.

The daughter was amazing! How she overcame it all to help her dad was awesome! I loved the end, too, how she got an idea for career options even with her disorder, that was just cool!
The communication was a complete bust, and mostly unbelievable. Daughter being a teenager/pre-teen, lack of communication I could believe. Between the adults? Not so much.

This is one of my favorite Inspirational/Christian Fiction authors, and I agree, it wasn't that enjoyable. I'm going to check out the second book, see how that goes, before I decide if I am abandoning or not.
