In the world of Tyriel there have been many heroes, none more famous than the monster slayer, Gerhold of Vilheim. The tales of Gerhold are known far and wide throughout the world, all of which can be told by every bard and story teller, all except for the story of what happened to the mighty hunter. A hundred years after Gerhold's disappearance, a merchant of mysterious origins arrives at one of the worlds Great Libraries with a pile of old journals; ones that he claim belonged to the famous monster slayer. Now, a young Keeper is tasked with recording the journals in order to determine their authenticity and to finally uncover the answer to the question a century in the making: what happened to Gerhold of Vilheim?
