I read this in the early 00s when it was available at my local library (the title had been removed some many years ago, however). The art style looks like it could have been drawn in the 90's, but it might be a little older or more recent than that.

I can't remember who published the series, whether it was Viz Media, Tokyopop or another publisher that's slipping my mind. If I can recall the English translation had been "flipped".

I don't recall much about the plot, but I know the original arc started with the three main characters transporting back a demon head in a bag to either a king or someone who had hired them. I think one of the characters may have been an elf or a demon, and another might have been a big flirt. I remember a lot went wrong while going back, and one of the three might have left to break off on his own. I'm pretty sure the series was some sort of shonen title, so all of the main characters were men.

The titles do tend to blur after a while. I can think of two other 'dragon xyz' titles off the top of my head, and I'm sure I'm missing a few.

This happens to be the first manga I ever read tho, so I had a memory boost.
