Gail,Thanks so much for that article. I suppose all good series must come to an end and if Perry jumps forward and includes a tie back to Pitt and Charlotte that would be fine with me. This has been a great series and I love her style of writing. I enjoy her Monk series, do you read that one as well? I also think it is an interesting personal story that Anne Perry was convicted of murder herself and re-established herself as a murder mystery novelist.
I have been reading Anne Perry for over 20 years. Love all her books, Pitt, Monk, the Christmas novellas, the World War I series and the stand alone books. The Pitt and WWI series have been my favorites. I'm excited to see where she will take the new series next year.
Did you ever see the film Heavenly Creatures? It is based on the Anne Perry murder trial.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavenl...
No I haven't...is it good? I also know there are a couple of books about her and the trial. I would like to read them eventually. Have you read either of them?
No I have not read any of the books on her murder trial. The film was ok, but interesting if you are a Perry fan like me.
I will have to try and find it. I am certainly a fan of hers and not only is it intriguing to read murder mystery books by a woman who committed murder it actually shows a person who seems to have been reformed and made a new life for herself!
Yes, I do check her website every now and again. I have not found this new book though....I do want to read it. Hopefully my library will get it since they have all of her other novels. Have you read it yet?
