Yes, it includes anywhere you'd put it free too. Even part of it. I believe you are entitled to post a % of it on a blog for instance, but that % should not be bigger than what is offered on Amazon.
Well that's an easy decision then. Maybe when I have three or more books out of the serie I'll put the first book on multiple platforms including the library stuff. I don't see Amazon change its stripes anything soon...

I submitted a short story to SELF-e last year and never heard back. You might have better luck with a full-length book, but, as GG said, it can't be enrolled in KDP Select.

More exposure sounds great, but I'm hesitant to have my only book published (for the moment) be available on a platform that can sell it without giving any royalties to the author in return. It would solely be for the exposure gain, which would be important as more of my books are released over the years...
Also anyone know if you can put your book on overdrive (I think through smashwords is the only way, correct?) while the book is enrolled into Amazond KDP Select (so exclusively on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited)?
Insight is more than welcome.
