Our Next TEAM Challenge is...........?
Probably not until next year, Jenny, if we are lucky. The writer and actor strikes pushed everything back. Got a bunch of stuff canceled too, like Shadow and Bone season 3. :(

Why did you mentioned this only now, and not 4 years ago? Because it just... zinged.. and I cannot do a damn single thing about it.
*pouts so hard that it isn't even funny*
Robin (Saturndoo) wrote: "I'm probably going to be odd man out here BUT I'm totally up for anything that's NOT fantasy, paranormal or romance based-- although those genres seem to be really HOT among the readers in the groups!"I would lobby hard for a Foundation based challenge, or one based on The Expanse or the Bobiverse. How about Heinlein's Howard family stories? The only problem with that one is that half of the challenge would have to take place in the NBRC back room. teehee
Eldarwen wrote: "The torturous music wheel wasn't realistic enough yet? We can accept a challenge :-p"MEDICAL PROCEDURAL!!!! You can even incorporate things like Jack the Ripper, or Bones TV show
or... you can go crazy... I'm pretty sure Mel would not be against a challenge Charles Dickens themed... or another classic authors... If you make it more in the lines of 18th/19th century. I can stomach it... probably... if I get to be on Team Lestat or Team Marie Antoinette *giggles*

I wouldn't hate it, I guess.π€
Sonia... we are supposed to torture you, not the other way around! Why would you want a Dickens inspired challenge?? :-p
Eldarwen wrote: "Sonia... we are supposed to torture you, not the other way around! Why would you want a Dickens inspired challenge?? :-p"Because it could be awesome? ;)

I had to google them......ugghh. OH NO Science Fictionπ’π₯ΊβΉ another one of those genres I dreadπ°
Sammy wrote: "Eldarwen wrote: "Sonia... we are supposed to torture you, not the other way around! Why would you want a Dickens inspired challenge?? :-p"Because it could be awesome? ;)"
I would be in for Charles Dickensπ€£
No Dickens!Austen, sure.
I've never liked Dickens, but part of that may be that in high school, I did not get to play Nancy in Oliver!. Instead, I was the flower seller. So disappointing. Just because she was a senior. I mean really. teehee
I think I'd like to be Inspector Bucket (as played to perfection by Alun Armstrong in the Bleak House miniseries), if it's Dickens. πOr Colonel Brandon (obvs!) if it's Austen. π
Or I could come to an agreement with Cat about Colonel Brandon and John Thornton. π
@Eldarwen feeling the pressure yet?Besides, if I can be that member that asks questions that were answered on the first page of her team's thread, I can totally torture you :P
Also, seriously, just looking at my read list you can see that a Dickens themed challenge will be the definition of personal hell.
If it's Austen, I'll be on Mel's team πMay I forward Thomas Hardy, while we're on a classic British authors streak?
The Mayor of Casterbridge for me please!
Eldarwen wrote: "I'm ignoring you ;-)"What?!
Do not make me use the "So... I've been thinking" card on you...

If anyone needs to be sold on the Dickens thing...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLXpY...
go to 21 minutes π

Does he narrate Dickens as well? I do have an audible credit to spend before I pause my membership
lol

brain crashed and needs to go into maintenance. This may take a while. Please play nurse to Jamie Fraser while you wait for it to be restored.

Unfortunately not that I've come across... But he's done Ballard (High-Rise) and one of the recent-ish Bond re-recordings (I think it was Octopussy and the Living Daylights )
Iβm so not the target audience for the lovely pictures. My first thought was that is not how you tie a pressure bandage.
Lexi wrote: "Iβm so not the target audience for the lovely pictures. My first thought was that is not how you tie a pressure bandage."LOL!
But it is how you show off as much of the pretty as possible while still giving the illusion that he's hurt, lol.

You have no idea how crazy active the dark and scary place I call brain has been the whole afternoon.
No matter how many signs of "Do Not Disturb I'm Working" I tried to put on. I even got glimpses of possibilities with the already made tools to make it work. I guess nothing can stop the ripple effects of invoking darn beetlejuice.
Smoke rises from the mountain of Doom. The hour grows late, and the Mods ride to Isengard seeking Sonia's councilβ¦giggles
Sonia is the one causing doom? Really?! Do I need to point out musical wheels, and muse towers?! Are you forgetting those?Sonia's idea of doom was quidditch. Even sin towers minis we're not Sonia's doing
Eldarwen wrote: "No, no, you better ride away from Sonia's council, or we are all doomed ;-)))"nice play on words I love it!
Also yes I would LOVE a Lord of the Rings themed challenge. Or what about ancient monarchs from history theme? we've got shows like Reign, and the Crown, and Borgias, so we could definitely do some type of historical thing?
Also - Jane Austen theme? Heck yeah! Colonel Brandon is the SWOON factor for me.
I love that you think Quidditch was light relief compared to musical towers! people didn't sleep for days in order to play that game, and I'm not even joking!
I'll hold my hands up to being one of the Chipmunk wranglers for some of the more recent challenges. and will totally own the joys of a Chipmunk ReSpin :D

Hey, I was pleased with the Muse towers!
Musical Wheels was fab! I'll fight anyone who says otherwise! My team had fun reading for all the venues, and finding lots of music genres
And Muse Towers, spawning the much loved Monster Wheel was awesome
