If we're talking ancient Greece..? Probably all of them, lol!"
Erato would be the closest, though. :D The name is rather suggestive, no? ;)
It is said that apart from erotic poetry, she was also the Muse for ..... MIME (tsk, tsk, what would Lord Vetinari say?)

Chronicles of St. Mary's! One of the best series ever!!!
I'm excited! Even if STILL in a freaking reading funk. Can't believe that not even uno seems to be getting me out of it this year 3
Jenny wrote: "And we are mere days away from the new St. Mary's book coming out!!!!!!!!!"It was really good too. I finished it yesterday. :D
Steven wrote: "Jenny wrote: "ARGHHHHH!!!

Can't wait! Might have to put off reading to sort out the monster that is TT though...

Sophie wrote-Can't wait! Might have to put off reading to sort out the monster that is TT though...I cannot wait once I get a Jodi Taylor book in my hot little hands. It is like putting a dog treat in front of a labrador and telling them to ignore it and just go on with their day. Not happening.
I'm excited about spending time with Kobna Holdbrook-Smith in my ears, when the next Rivers of London comes out :)
Oooh! fingers crossed you enjoy them! As a Londoner, I very much enjoy how much London is a character, and honestly Kobna H-S is an outstanding voice actor, with a voice like liquid chocolate that differentiates brilliantly and handles female voices really well too. (I think he's probably good as a stage actor too, but never seen him)
You're in for a treat!
Cat, I keep wanting to find something he's acted in, but don't want to be disappointed.
ETA he's won a laurence Olivier Award for playing Ike Turner in the Tina Turner musical, so I don't think I'd be disappointed!

I knew he was in the Tina Turner musical but didn't know he'd won an award! I suspect he'd be pretty amazing in most roles though
When kids are older we might have to arrange a theatre night out to actually meet and watch him. Obviously open to anyone else round London at the time.
Gonna see some of the sights, get tickets for the Mousetrap in West End, and go see the Warner Bros studio tour for HP stuff. Stonehenge and Windsor Castle too, out of the city.
It’s my first real trip outside of the US! I’ve been on a cruise with some random stops in places, but only for a few hours each. I’m very excited!!
Steven wrote: "Gonna see some of the sights, get tickets for the Mousetrap in West End, and go see the Warner Bros studio tour for HP stuff. It's been a long time since I was there, but we really enjoyed seeing the Tower of London.
I hope you have a wonderful trip.
I hope you have a wonderful trip too!Although, why would someone prefer to visit the Tower of London instead of the Belem Tower, is something that doesn't compute on my book.
I'm pretty sure there are no pasteis de Belem near the London one :P :P :P

Those tarts are pretty epic... but afternoon tea at the Shard is pretty special as well. Enjoy your trip, Steven.
Steven's awesome trip and the even awesomer pasteis de Belem aside, when will sign-ups for TT open? :)
Sophie wrote: "pasteis de Belem... Are those similar to pasteis de nata? If so a visit is in order."They're pretty close. The puff pastry and the custard are slightly different, cause it's the bakery's secret recipe.
Pasteis de Belem

Pasteis de nata

The first ones are mostly always warm, and begin for powdered sugar and cinnamon.
Melindam wrote: "Steven's awesome trip and the even awesomer pasteis de Belem aside, when will sign-ups for TT open? :)"Good question.
And a better question yet, can we assemble Team Lust again? It would be like the return of the avengers :D
I brought up Portugal, but we are taking the trip to celebrate our friend Amy’s birthday, and she wanted to do London over Lisbon. :(
I mean, in May you might regret that choice - we can be VERY wet during April & May, unlike balmy Lisbon, but there are sufficient Portguese over here that you'll be able to get pasteis de nata, done very well ;-P
Well, if you're going to point out fair enough reasons and solid arguments, I'm not sure if I want to continue having this conversation:P

I knew I had picked the greek pantheon for a reason... *whistles*
