I feel like I've missed out as I helped to manage that one rather than playing it. Now I will start to notice vinegar more often ;)

Now it seems every second book has a vinegar.. Is there a chance that Restaurant will return? I better start making a note of where it pops up then for future reference. 🤣
Not news about the next NBRC challenge, but I was excited to discover that the Manx language has a word for "sticky beak", as in peering into windows / being nosy. And it's "skeet"
Which made me very happy when I linked that immediately to Rita Skeeter!

Funny! Great connection!
Isle of Man. Teeny island in the Irish Sea, between England and Ireland. It's a Celtic- Norse mix, so some Gaelic type words and some Norse stuff. It's an endangered language, but the island is awesome. Claims to have the longest continuous parliament system, rivals New Zealand for first women's vote, and is an odd mix of old and new- big area of income is online gaming, poker stars had a massive presence. Plus film industry. And of course tax haven dodgy financial dealings

i think it will be tower teams in Nothing But Reading Challenges....I'm guessing..

what group is that in Audrey??

What's the best thing about it, it'll be a new one for me this year???

Shhhh don't tempt the fates like that.
We were pretty sure that Tower Teams would be retired with its mamma, because nobody would be able to tame the beast.
And that was... 6 editions ago?

Aww, RIP Wobble !

If you want to check out last year's edition of TT - here's the link : https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

I didn't say that. I said not to tempt fate.
Wobble had a very fun concept... but it was a nightmare to run. Besides, very long challenges tend to feel an obligation. I rather have two different challenges, with a little break in the middle than a big one like wobble.
But that's my two cents. Not my call to make anymore. I'm pretty happy to be in the sidelines. Although, I'm pretty sure I'd be miserably trying to keep up with such a long long challenge.

I don't recognize the teaser picture in the newsletter!
Does someone know what it is?"
It's an apartment building called Muse in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.
Architecture maybe? Beaches? Something to do with the word muse?

Glad we are thinking the same! And are being oh so mature about it.

They also said get ready to "feel inspired" so that combined with "muse" feels like the right path . . . though what that actually means I have no idea!!! Haha.

So are those the 9 Muses of Florida or Ancient Greece? :)

The June BOM theme is mythology...

Euterpe would be my muse of personal choice, but they all sound cool. :)
