Liam Atkinson I really like these books. They all are pretty hard and go into a lot of explanation on how and why the world the author created works. This is a real fantasy book with lots of magic and dragons and elf's and all that. But this is a new look on all that, this book gets into some really philosophical stuff. Like Gods and racial equality, even a little bit of why we exists. The characters are so real as well. Eragon (the main protagonist) goes from being a really dumb farm boy to being one of the first Dragon riders in over 200 years. So i would recommend these books to anyone that is into any of that go and give them a try

Sowmya K I really loved this series ! But it does have kinda sad ending with Eragon and Arya .
This was my first book on dragons and i really liked it a lot ....even though it is a fantasy novel the story and the characters felt real.
Inheritance cycle is one of the best in fantasy .

Gayathri true... even though the ending has a sad note it true to its story line.. the eragon arya thing was kinda prophesied! But the interesting thing is there are many holes open in the story... many small mysteries unsolved... possibilities for a next book!

Lauren Mongie There is a confirmed Book 5. It will take place in Alagaësia, but will not focus primarily on Eragon and Arya. Inheritance Cycle is one of my favorite book series, so I can't wait for an actual release date.

p.leer I loved the Inheritance Cycle. There wasn't one character who bored me, so when there was a perspective switch I was never disappointed. The magic is really exciting too, the rules of using magic were interesting and I loved imagining the creatures.
I heard some criticism at a signing that the plot is similar to Star Wars?? I'm not so sure about that though.

Cali I loved this series. I have read it a total of five times and every time I read it I learn something new about one of the characters. It was a really great book, it brought me to tears many a time, and I know I wont ever be the same after reading this book.
I read some of the star wars books and have watched all of the movies, but I really don't see the comparison.
I agree with Gayathri I would love to get to know more about Angela and other characters we briefly learned aout and I am looking forward to book 5.
Even though I knew what the relationship between Eragon and Arya would be, it still broke my heart to read about it
