Just wanted to let you know some time ago I found this Mental Illness Advocacy Reading Challenge: https://opinionsofawolf.com/mia-readi...
It is interesting also because it has a very comprehensive list of books on mental health, divided in the various mental health problems. Worth having a look at!
As for your request, I'll think about the possible categories and get back to this thread to let you know!

Here goes:
- Read a book by an Asian or African author
- Read a book (fiction or non-fiction) about a mental illness of your choice
- Read a book where the main character is a child (let's say up to 12 years)
- Read a book in translation
- Read a book with a cover you like
- Read a book someone gave you as a present
- Read a book set in your home country
- Read a book by one of your favorite authors
- Read a book you added to your TBR before 1/1/2016
Of course each of those can be adapted or discarded altogether if you don't like them :-)
Outside of my MHB Mod life, I'm a tiny bit obsessed with reading challenges - I'm the kind of person that can't resist starting multiple things, whether I finish them is a different matter, but let's not go there!
There are a whole host of GR groups that are dedicated to reading challenges (give me a shout if you want any recommendations), but I thought it would be fun to introduce one or two here.
Let's kick off with a 2016 challenge - I know it's nearly the end of April but people can always backdate and include what they've already read. I'm thinking 52 tasks (one for each week), but people can choose different levels - Easy (13 tasks), Medium (26 tasks), Hard (52 tasks) so there's no pressure to do the whole thing.
I'll put it up in May in time with our new group reads, but I'd love to hear ideas for tasks! These can be anything, from reading a specific genre (e.g. read a Sci-fi novel), a size (e.g. read a book under 200 pages), a feeling (e.g. read a book that makes you smile) to more random things like read a book with a green cover, or by an author whose surname begins with M.
If this goes well, we can also introduce other games and challenges e.g. mini challenges with less tasks over a month or season, themed challenges, bingos, etc. If there are other challenge addicts out there, let me know what you'd like to see!
