Alan Chan (wordninja) | 1 comments Hi all!

I'm Alan Chan and my debut scifi novel Abundance just released on Amazon today. Through a lot of legwork by my publicist, we've made it to #1 on the Hard Scifi New Releases chart. Yays!

My website is a bit of a hybrid - it is partially a portfolio website for my visual effects portfolio, with a little corner set aside for my book. Drop by and check it out!

Scott Ickes | 14 comments Hello, all readers and authors. I'm a new author. I was diagnosed with Leukemia in September 2023. Due to chemotherapy and eventually a bone marrow transplant, I was reduced to trips to the hospital or staying home watching TV or reading. I wasn't permitted to go shopping or to restaurants. I was immunocompromised, thus the restrictions.

I am a very avid reader. However, when you're reduced to that being the only activity in your life, you eventually get frustrated. My wife said, "You always thought you could write a book, why not do it? You have plenty of time."

Shortly after that (February 7, 2024), my brother died tragically in an auto accident. My depression worsened, so to self-medicate, I took my wife's advice and started writing.

It took me ten months to write my first book, "First Contact-Lemurians." It only took me five weeks to write my second book, "First Contact-Elysians." I'm working on the third book in the series, "First Contact-Antillians." I hope to publish all three at once in June 2025!

I have short excerpts of the first two books on my website. Please check it out!

Andrew Goliszek | 7 comments LITERARY TITAN GOLD BOOK AWARD WINNER: Like Embers in the Night is a historical novel based on the true story of two gulag and Soviet labor camp survivors following Stalin’s brutal invasion of Poland. Given what’s happening in Russia and Ukraine, it’s a timey and chilling read. Read the reviews on my website below:

message 1832: by Loretta (new)

Loretta Allseitz | 12 comments I am a Texas-based author whose passion for atmospheric thrillers and small-town crime novels infuses every page with tension and authenticity. Nestled in a quiet lake-town cabin, I draw inspiration from the mist-shrouded shores, moss-draped oaks, and hidden undercurrents of rural life. My debut novel, Teardrops of Lake Tawakoni, follows a married detective duo as they untangle ritualistic murders marked by a chilling teardrop symbol. A lifelong fan of suspense and psychological depth, I blend local color with forensic detail to create morally complex characters you’ll never forget. When I'm not crafting my next twist, you’ll find me devouring true-crime podcasts, exploring backroads, playing with my 2 fur-babies or mapping out the perfect plot twist.

Check out my first book release - Teardrops of Lake Tawakoni - available on Amazon now! https://a.co/d/hEeZGiJ
