Hi everyone! I've been getting a lot of unsolicited books in the mail lately. In some cases, a publisher contacted me and asked if they could send me unsolicited books and I said yes. But I've had quite a few show up that came from authors or small publishers I have no agreement with. Some of them got my address from a previous book that I reviewed, some from a giveaway that I won in the past.
Often (but not always) I don't end up liking these books. Many of them are not books that I would request and are outside of my preferred genres. Sometimes I'll get an email a few weeks after the book has arrived, asking me if I would please review it. I'm not sure how to deal with these books that just show up on my doorstep with expectations attached.
