I am always reading books by indie authors or books I've found on my recommendations page that no one has ever heard of and I'm alone in my fandom! Post some books so you don't have to be alone anymore!

Jennifer (genoveffa) | 48 comments Anything Abbi Glines would qualify. Jennifer Armentrout too. And pretty much anything recent I've read with the exception of a book that is on a NYT Bestsellers list somewhere.

Liss | 24 comments I don't have many friends who do read, so it's always a struggle when I find good books and have no one to discuss them with. The latest struggle has been with the Throne of Glass Series, and I'm trying to get several friends to read it so I can talk about how amazing it is!

Ashley Marie I love Libbie Hawker's writing -- so far I've only read Tidewater: A Novel of Pocahontas and the Jamestown Colony but I'm really looking forward to The Sekhmet Bed and Daughter of Sand and Stone too.

Adele I have this struggle as well. The books:

Watched, I got this book a few years ago, and literally no one has heard of it. It's such a great little book as well. -- The author seems to have fallen off the face of the Internet (I fear she has died, omg). -- I wish I knew how to contact her, or something. Watched in my opinion is such a great book that has such an open ending and a lot of potential for a second book.

The Jewels of Sofia Tate, it's been a while since I've read this book, but it still remains one of my favourites. I love, love, love the story, and the characters.

So, Her Fearful Symmetry isn't a YA novel, it's kinda like a New Adult and Adult crossover. I absolutely looove this book. I've read it like four times and each time I read it, the story reveals more to me that I didn't see last time. -- I just really love this book.

There's also Carrier of the Mark, that I've seen no one else read. It's such a great YA book in my opinion. It takes place in Ireland, and the romance between these two characters is absolutely electric.

Wicked Lovely, and Evermore are two books that go hand-in-hand in my mind. I read them around the same time and i really liked the stories. So much so that I have almost all the books in the series! But I haven't really seen much chatter about these series. I think they're picking back up again - people who've read them before are starting to talk about them again. I really think the reason why there isn't much chatter about these two books is because in the readers, and publishing world, these books are old. These series though have such great protagonists.

The Book of Blood and Shadow, I read and found this book a few years ago, but it's a stand alone and I really recommend it if you want a book that trek's across Europe! There's also a lot of hoopla that in my opinion is so freaking dramatic that it wasn't really needed, but all the drama really serves the story.

OK, so for this last one, I KNOW, my post is getting long, I'm sorry!!! There are just so many books that I feel are pushed under the rug.

The Devouring is a book that was published in '08 and honestly, creeped me out so freaking badly i had to sleep with a light on. Again, I feel like no one really knows about this book? I know a few people who do, and they love this book. But other than that when I try to recommend this book to anyone I seriously feel like they're not listening, haha.

Those are the books that I have! I really wish that these were more widely known.
[long post is long, oops]

I'll definitely take you up on that offer! I felt like I was about to burst when I finished Queen of Shadows because it was so good, but I had no one to talk about it with! I can't wait for the next installment in the series.

Yes, oh my gosh! You can message me anytime! :D -- I felt the same way when I finished Queen of Shadows too. I swear I was so happy. THE ENDING RUINED ME IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE.
