I'm an indie author living in NY -- and the upcoming release of the "Fantastic Beasts" movie got me thinking back on all the happy times I spent at Hogwarts... Here's a quick video I made about 3 things that we can ALL (writers, book lovers, or just people) learn from J.K. Rowling. Lemme know what you think!

Thanks Lora! Yes: I loved the trailer -- especially the depiction of old-timey New York, with a bit of fairy-tale magic :)

Yes! And it was wonderful to get that glimpse and know that soon we'll all be able to re-immerse ourselves in the wonder of the wizarding world, this time in a new era and setting, but still the wizarding world. All the little details in just the trailer were amazing, like the muggle-worthy button on Scamander's suitcase to disguise anything magical about it from the non-magicals. :)

YESSS!!! I also loved the suitcase gag at the end... I wish I could go down there myself!
