Split up the General folder?

I just had a thought. I think it is important to keep the topics that are pinned to the top of the general forum there. But... With only 8 topics visible in the full discussion view of the web version, I was wondering if it made sense to start a new folder. It would be placed above the general that would just house the important pinned topics, but free up all 8 spots in the general forum to recent topics.


Now that I try and post this to the general folder, I see this may be a limitation to Good Reads itself. I say this because the "general" folder does not show up as a place to post. Could someone else confirm if this is possible or not?

And by the way just a suggestion, I'd like to hear others opinions on this.

You can't put anything above the general folder. It's not in the list of sortable folders.

The only option would be to create an announcement section, but that would have to go below the general section.
