Jean-Louis Berthoud (jean-louisberthoud) | 16 comments I have recently added a new edition for the book "Three Men on the Bummel". I added the edition that can be found (for free) on Project Gutenberg under this link:
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/2183

Now I am wondering if I could add the "Download eBook" button to the book (or just the specific edition) from the links found on Project Gutenberg?

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Thank you for your help,

Jean-Louis

No.

Jean-Louis Berthoud (jean-louisberthoud) | 16 comments That's too bad, well, thanks anyway for the answer! :-)

Jean-Louis Berthoud (jean-louisberthoud) | 16 comments Actually, could you please tell me why it isn't possible?

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments Only GR authors have the ability to add due to previous missue/ uploading of books

Jean-Louis Berthoud (jean-louisberthoud) | 16 comments Thank you Paula, it is all clear now!
It's too bad, but if it's the rule, what can I say.
I personally doubt that Jerome K. Jerome will be very inclined to add the electronic version of his book on GR, so I'll just give you the Gutenberg link again, and maybe someone with the appropriate rights will want to do it:

Have a nice day!

Just because the ebook is legally available for download from a site does not mean anyone who wants to has the right to redistribute that ebook.

The author has that right.

Jean-Louis Berthoud (jean-louisberthoud) | 16 comments Okay, understood, thank you very much for the answer. :-)
Have a nice week-end!
