Wow! I've never heard of anything like that! Sounds good!

Ooo, that sounds like fun. (mustard pizza???) :)
We went to a go kart place with my dad and rode go karts, played laser tag, and squirted each other on water bumper boats. It was a ton of fun. :)

(Mission accomplished. I officially have made Hawkeye jealous of me *pumps fist* xD)

Are any of you going to a summer camp?
Hawkeye and I are going to one with our church. :D
So excited, yet nervous... nervicited? -_-

I'm going to an awesome Christian camp for a week this summer in exactly 27 days! So, yes, I'm excited. I've gone four other summers and have really enjoyed it. This year I'll even be working for a week as volunteer staff.
I'm glad you and Hawkeye can go to one. I hope you enjoy it. Will it be your first time?

Cool!
The only time I went to summer camp was when I was 9? I'm not exactly sure. It was piano camp, and I was the youngest one there.

I feel more comfortable about going now, I was so nervous before.
Cool!
I understand; I was VERY nervous when I started my babysitting job last year.
I guess that doesn't have to do with camp... xD

I kinda want to be on my teacher's good side because she's very competitive and will do (almost) anything to win, as long as it's fair. Maybe I can team up with her?

Sounds like a lotta fun, Hawkeye! :)

Maybe!

I'm hoping to make some good friends since I really don't have any close friends.. I guess I have a couple but I don't know them all that well.

The really key is just to pray for patience for yourself with the rest of the girls. You also never knew when and opportunity to make a friend will pop up.

The countdown is so hard. I just wish I could make the time fly by so I could be at camp :)
I hope you have lots of fun and get closer to God.
Friends don't immediately become close. You have to work to become closer. Like me: I think I could become closer friends with people via mail, but I have to reply to them, and not lose their letters! I wish there were girls my age that went to my church, but unfortunately, the two that are closest to my age are 17 and 7... :( I have some good friends that live out-of-state, though, like you, Chloe!

I don't have a lot of kids my age at my church either but I enjoy visiting with some of the older ladies at the church and try to remind myself that going to church isn't about seeing friends.
I hope I don't sound preachy because really all I am is agreeing with y'all...
I agree with you, too, Karis! It is good to spend time with older, more mature women. I basically follow my mom around, and chat with the women all of the time. Either that, or I'm babysitting the littles. xD

It is nice here; it doesn't get to hot but it doesn't get to cold either.

Going to back to the camp discussion, I'm going to go to camp in July. July 11-16. Wouldn't it be awesome if someone else was going to the same camp as me? (my church is taking the kids, but there will be other churches too.)

I got baptized yesterday and I'm feeling quite exhausted today for some reason. xD

Thanks! I got baptized with my sister and two other high-schoolers. I was so nervous! Me and one of the other teens were shaking so bad. xD Especially after we got out of the water!

Yep, I know that it's not immediate, but I haven't had a best friend since when I was in 1st grade and I had to move back to California.... I lost touch with her. ;'(
I'm getting less shy now and doing activities with the youth group helps me.
