Adding the series information to the title line is useful, but does not actually add the book to the series. See https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3...
I got this one.
I got this one.

Oops, thanks for the clarification, rivka.

What happens if a book in a series has been listed for a kindle edition and a request comes up to create one for the paperback edition? Would I need to create a new series for all the paperback versions or combine the books or something else? Sorry, the page doesn't talk about managing series in cross editions (an addition to the page perhaps?).

What do I do if a request comes in to create a series for a paperback edition of a novel while the same has been done for its kindle edition - list the paperback under the same series or create a new series to list paperback editions together or combine books? Sorry to bother, the page doesn't list how to manage cross edition referencing cases (an addition to the page, perhaps?)
Example:
The thread request
Paperback edition of the book
Kindle Edition of the book
Series listing the Kindle edition

Thanks for the clarification, Renske.
Renske answered your question.
In general, new librarians are well advised to read many threads and see what experienced librarians do, rather than jumping in feet-first.

This is done now, please see here.
