Yep, better so far. And I like that they finally titled chapters with POV names so there's no guesswork in whose POV we're reading. That always drove me nuts.

I hate that Evan is so alone and that he chooses to leave the group although he is trying to help humanity it is still sad that he chooses to be alone. I'm glad that ringer and ben end up together.. and that Cassie ended up where Bosch thought he was going to end up. Although I feel like there were no loose ends it still begs to imagine what will happen... Cassie becomes one of those beings that have no bodies and live thousands of years? Chapter 45: Am I missing something or is this the first time we've seen Squad 19? I'm a bit confused...

Ch15-25. Jumping around all over the place. I'm not sure who's a Silencer and where this going at the moment.

Ch26-35. Just when they seem inhuman, they do something beautiful. Wasn't expecting that with Dumbo!

Ch60-93. Picking up a bit. Do wonder where this will go-have a bad feeling right now!

Completed. Please Yancey didn't resolve this in the way it suggested would happen - but the actual ending felt unsatisfying for me. Too much extraneous stuff was added in to move the plot along and I didn't feel the reader was carried through it clearly.

Finished: Not very happy with this series and how it ended. Left something to be desired.

I'm a little nervous, it's one of my favorite series, but a lot of people say this is a horrible unsatisfactory conclusion.

I just started today I made it to page 53 and pretty interesting so far. I still feel like the 1st book was the best in my opinion and it's kind of being dragged along now. Just my opinion though. What do you think so far?

I liked the second one better, all the characters were explored in depth. Have you guys seen the movie?

II, The Second Day (upto chapter 14)

I really should have reread the last two books before starting this one.

It's okay till now, the writing is pretty good, but where's the action?

Yeah I'm the same way, some of these characters I kind of forgot. But as the book goes on I remember them again. I saw the movie & it was actually pretty good in my opinion. I agree I need action!
