"No, sorry - there's some of the right green there, but it's in her hair, not in the background, and the image is too big to see enough of the background anyway.

These should be fine. I remember seeing 12 Years a Slave on the list, thought about it for one of mine, just mark the page it's on when you post.

"The green is on target, but on embiggening I think there's more black than green there, so no.

Of the greens, I'll approve Hex Marks the Spot.
Could I get these books approved ?
First for book 1 --- Texas :
The Midnight Assassin: Panic, Scandal, and the Hunt for America's First Serial Killer
Book 2 - Michigan
Michigan Murders
Book 3
Thank you

The settings books look OK from what I can tell.
The green cover is too dark a green. It's a little lighter when embiggened from the thumbnail, but still too dark.

"Robin, I've got to rescind that approval - the group mods messaged to remind me we'd rejected Dark Lover before the task was posted, on the grounds that it's a color wash over an image, not a true background. Lover Eternal is in the same style. Sorry 'bout the confusion.

[bookcover:Erasm..."Approving Deadly Proof and Erasmus Hobart.
A quick question about the book format... If I wanted to read Rebecca, which is approved for Red - but I wanted to read the Kindle format - would that work? (I am still reading through all of the posts, so if this has been answered already, I will find it eventually) :) Thanks

Mod note
From FAQ
I. General default rules
J. So, can I ALWAYS read any format or edition of a book for any task?
Yes, but if the task requires a specific number of pages or a particular image/color on the cover, the edition you read must satisfy the requirement, and your link must be to the edition that you actually read. The easiest way to make sure you do this is to put the ISBN on the edition that you read in the box when you are adding the link, rather than the title – this will bring up the correct edition. If you put in the title, you’ll get the GR default edition.

OK so either one of those books would work for setting for options 2 New York?
Approving The Laws of Murder and, after much mental debate, Ella Minnow Pea. The rest are too yellow-y green to my eye.

Dog in the Night-Time is just a bit too orange-y. Shame, coz it's such a good book. :(
Haven't read T&F, but based on the GR description it looks OK.

The Murder Stone works nicely. Murder Offstage is definitely a pink to my eyes.
Hi, pls approve settings for these booksLost in Bliss set in Colorado (CO)
Omens set in Illinois (IL)
thanks!

Haven't read either, but from what I can see on their GR main pages, they should be OK. Just as you're reading keep the "at least 50%" requirement in mind and see how they do.
Hi! I am back again with a book to submit for your approval. I stumbled upon this book searching for something completely different and didn't see it on either the approved or rejected list. It looks like it may fit the shade of green you are looking for but I wanted your opinion first.

"No - too yellow-y and too pastel. Think shamrocks.
