i like to judge books by their covers"
Yeah?
I'll only do that if I know the book that i want. I did that with the last book i bought...I knew what it looked like i grabbed it and took it to the cash with out looking inside.

haha, I do too. I know it's bad, but it's the truth. :P It's also extremely difficult for me to pick up a new book, because I get so attached to my favorite books and I just can't force myself to move on to new ones. Soo, I just reread them all. :)

I don't think it will be called that.
ALSO directly @Mong don't spam! those four messages above are spam except your first one. If you don't have anything constructive to say don't say it.

The first dragon and rider: white.
Eragon's namesake: the white dragon and his rider.
hint hint??

What about the title being eragons true name?
What do you think his true name is?
What do you think his true name is?

Does it sounds like a scientific name?
"Eragonis Dragonacious riderium"
LOL

and fire
whats fire scientifically? heat? lol."
lol....I don't know.
Maybe it is the latin word for fire?
i think brisingr is part of eragons true name

Well, "Brisingr" was a bit of a spoiler, even though you had to read the book to find out what it meant. That would be the same thing if the title was Eragon's true name.

No one officially knows yet what it's going to be, or what the title is going to mean.

Eldest (what I think) symbolised that Murtagh was the eldest of the two half-brothers and of Glaedr and Oromis were the elder dragon rider pair of the two.
Eragon was just the symbolisation of his name and the first dragon rider etc.
So you see, there is a bit of symbolisation and meaning of the name, and then what happens in the book.
:) That is what we're discussing.

Hahahahaa xD
Brianne wrote: "yes, i know
did you mean we don't know why the book was called brisingr or the sword?"
What I was trying to say was that we did know what Brisingr was in the ancient language before reading the book, but then after reading it you see that it has a meaning to the title other than just fire.
