Book 4 Title
Well... I fell in love with the book when brisgnr came out so I wasn't there when some of you loyal fans are guessing the other books name. I don't even know if those guesses were close enough too. But still, Eragon can inherit the eldunari it maybe thorns or saphira's.
You have to remember that Angela said that he will leave Alagaesia and never come back, but what my friend and I think is that when Galbatorix dies (and hopefully he will, he annoys the hell out of me!), the new leader will rename Alagaesia and then he DID leave and never come back, cause the name has changed. So maybe, the fourth book will be named the new name of Alagaesia! If that's what happens. And I don't want Brom or Selena to come back to life. Too corny.
But I do want Arya to get the last dragon egg, because she said that she and Eragon couldn't be together because they were too different, and for the past few books they have been getting closer to being nearly the same, and it's a total valid reason if she gets the egg, turns into a Dragon Rider, then they can be together! That's a happy ending. But it might not be a happy ending. :)

It would be cool if that happened.
well if you think about it arya might just love eragon. in book 3 she starts to say something to eragon before he went up to fight Murtagh but stopped.
Brianne, brom was my fav person in the book. i was soooooo mad ant upset when he died. but he died protecting his son. the son of the women he loved. the son that he loved enuf to forsake everyone hes ever known to be close, in a roundabout manner but once again of he could protect him, and see grow up. i truly believe that if brom had to chose his own demise that would be what he wanted. to die protecting the ones you love is the highest honor for some. so lets agree to let his memory live in peace. And who knows maybe the vault of souls is where eragon will get to see brom, his mother, the real eragon, and his old teacher. maybe they will pool their strenght together and give it to eragon to store in aren and use against galby.
I'm joining this talk a lil late so please bear with me while i catch up and express myself.
But no one knows Brom was eragons father until book 3. he was just a rider teaching eragon back then. he was not that special yet.
I think people based it from the other books.Saphira is blue
Thorn is red
Gladr is gold
shurikan is black
There are no other primary colors available. Remember that the sword of the riders resembles the color of the dragon. I cannot imagine a glowing brown sword... other colors can be violet, orange and white.
I would really like it to be a white dragon. It just seems... fitting, because the first dragon with a rider was white. I also love the idea of a white dragon. :)
PURPLE DRAGON!!!!! it would be AMAZING if it were PURPLE! but theN again it would make saphira less important because then she wont be the only female dragon left to repopulated the WORLD!!! lol but yea unless its a PURPLE guy dragon but that would be AWKWARD!!! :)

But pulple dragon... hmm that color is nor scary or intimidating enough. When you say purple dragon I think of Barnie.
Is Eragon a catalyst that helps the dragons to use magic? Interesting question. . . .Very interesting. Yup. . . . Mmh. . . . Very interesting. Can’t say though. Nope. That would be telling. This was said by CP after a Question was asked about Eragon being the one who inspires dragons to do their magic. In that case it could severely affect what happens in book IV.
Did you just answer your own question? The minoa tree incedent is already finished, eragon already got the metal. For its prophecy well, it just strengthen what Angela's phropecy said, that eragon should live Alegasia.
In Q&A with CP he said whatever the menoa tree wanted after giving Eragon the metal is as slow moving as her conscience so it could be bad. Also The answer up there is from CP himself.
Me too. She's cool, but not very nice. :/ Oh, I get it now! Joseph was directly quoting the interview. Ok.
maybe the tree will want eragon to go the elfs homeland n thats why he leaves the land. i no it sounds farfeched but hey anything could happen rite?
That wouldn't be very original if that's what happened, yeah. What with the elves going back to their homeland and all, I mean, because LOTR did that. Wasn't it called something like Alalea?
ya, there are already so many connection to lotr people have been making, CP wouldn't dare make that the ending. the one in lotr is Arda, well the big country. the elven place is Valinor, in Aman/undying lands.
Really? Do you know any of the other connections?Oh, ok. But wasn't the Eragon one called Alalea? Or something starting with an A.
oh. really? there's a place in the inheritance world called Alalea? well, brom could be connected to gandalf.
frodo to eragon
ayra to arwen
sauron to galby
orik to gimli
durza to the witch king
same sort of, unexpected young person, entrusted to overthrow an evil king. only he can do it. blah blah, people corrupted...
Whoa, I've never noticed that! But it totally fits. Maybe CP enjoyed LOTR when he was little or something.

also I think it will be something that eragon inherits
