Alec | 7 comments The problem with Eldunari and Gedwëy Ignasia is that we already know what they are. So far all the titles have been fairly mysterious besides eragon, although that would have been if you just picked up the book and read it straight away
also I think it will be something that eragon inherits

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Well... I fell in love with the book when brisgnr came out so I wasn't there when some of you loyal fans are guessing the other books name. I don't even know if those guesses were close enough too.

But still, Eragon can inherit the eldunari it maybe thorns or saphira's.

Sarah (fightingfirewithfire) | 68 comments You have to remember that Angela said that he will leave Alagaesia and never come back, but what my friend and I think is that when Galbatorix dies (and hopefully he will, he annoys the hell out of me!), the new leader will rename Alagaesia and then he DID leave and never come back, cause the name has changed. So maybe, the fourth book will be named the new name of Alagaesia! If that's what happens.

And I don't want Brom or Selena to come back to life. Too corny.

But I do want Arya to get the last dragon egg, because she said that she and Eragon couldn't be together because they were too different, and for the past few books they have been getting closer to being nearly the same, and it's a total valid reason if she gets the egg, turns into a Dragon Rider, then they can be together! That's a happy ending. But it might not be a happy ending. :)

message 204: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments I need to ponder on that. Hmmm...

That is a different theory of what could happen...good thought. It would be cool if that happened.

message 206: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments well if you think about it in eldest he inherits an older step-brother. so it kinda fits.

message 207: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments well if you think about it arya might just love eragon. in book 3 she starts to say something to eragon before he went up to fight Murtagh but stopped.

message 208: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments Brianne, brom was my fav person in the book. i was soooooo mad ant upset when he died. but he died protecting his son. the son of the women he loved. the son that he loved enuf to forsake everyone hes ever known to be close, in a roundabout manner but once again of he could protect him, and see grow up. i truly believe that if brom had to chose his own demise that would be what he wanted. to die protecting the ones you love is the highest honor for some. so lets agree to let his memory live in peace.

And who knows maybe the vault of souls is where eragon will get to see brom, his mother, the real eragon, and his old teacher. maybe they will pool their strenght together and give it to eragon to store in aren and use against galby.

I'm joining this talk a lil late so please bear with me while i catch up and express myself.

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Ok! Yeah, there's a lot of posts to read through. You don't have to go through each one, though.

message 210: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments i'm sorry that theres so many. i just wanted to state my opinions.

message 211: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments But no one knows Brom was eragons father until book 3. he was just a rider teaching eragon back then. he was not that special yet.

message 212: by Harpoon (last edited Feb 22, 2010 12:27AM) (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments I think people based it from the other books.

Saphira is blue
Thorn is red
Gladr is gold
shurikan is black

There are no other primary colors available. Remember that the sword of the riders resembles the color of the dragon. I cannot imagine a glowing brown sword... other colors can be violet, orange and white.

message 213: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments A purple dragon? That would ROCK!!!! My dragon will be purple. You'll see. Yup.

message 214: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments I want silver. Is silver a color?

message 215: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Of course silver's a color! ^^ It's my second favorite color, after purple.

message 216: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments I know colors are from the primary colors(red yellow and blue) but how do you make silver?

message 217: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Good question. I suppose that you make gray (however you do that) and make it shiny.

message 218: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Hehehe, When someone says shiny or sparkle it always remind me of the movie twilight. ahahahaah

message 219: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Eww... Vampires do NOT sparkle.

message 220: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments LOL. I agree

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
I would really like it to be a white dragon. It just seems... fitting, because the first dragon with a rider was white. I also love the idea of a white dragon. :)

message 222: by Heydi (new)

Heydi garcia (heyd213) | 17 comments PURPLE DRAGON!!!!! it would be AMAZING if it were PURPLE! but theN again it would make saphira less important because then she wont be the only female dragon left to repopulated the WORLD!!! lol but yea unless its a PURPLE guy dragon but that would be AWKWARD!!! :)

message 223: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments I think a purple male dragon would be AWESOME!

message 224: by Harpoon (new)

It is already said that the dragon is male. But pulple dragon... hmm that color is nor scary or intimidating enough. When you say purple dragon I think of Barnie.

message 225: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments lol. barnie is a loser.

message 226: by Heydi (new)

Heydi garcia (heyd213) | 17 comments barnie needs to be canceled from little kid chanels!!!!LOL

message 227: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments HE A PRVE!!!!!!!!!!

message 228: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments barnies not a dragon
he's a DINOSAUR!

message 229: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments well the first dragons were considered dinosaurs.

message 230: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Barnie give me the creeps.

message 231: by Heydi (new)

Heydi garcia (heyd213) | 17 comments his voice is so ANNOYING!!!

message 232: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments He has a Hammer as a snout.

message 233: by Joseph (new)

Joseph (Thorn985) | 21 comments How do you think the menoa tree is going to affect book IV?

message 234: by Joseph (new)

Joseph (Thorn985) | 21 comments Is Eragon a catalyst that helps the dragons to use magic? Interesting question. . . .Very interesting. Yup. . . . Mmh. . . . Very interesting. Can’t say though. Nope. That would be telling. This was said by CP after a Question was asked about Eragon being the one who inspires dragons to do their magic. In that case it could severely affect what happens in book IV.

message 235: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Did you just answer your own question?

The minoa tree incedent is already finished, eragon already got the metal. For its prophecy well, it just strengthen what Angela's phropecy said, that eragon should live Alegasia.

message 236: by Joseph (new)

Joseph (Thorn985) | 21 comments In Q&A with CP he said whatever the menoa tree wanted after giving Eragon the metal is as slow moving as her conscience so it could be bad. Also The answer up there is from CP himself.

message 237: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments the menoa tree creeps me out.

message 238: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Me too. She's cool, but not very nice. :/ Oh, I get it now! Joseph was directly quoting the interview. Ok.

message 239: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments maybe the tree will want eragon to go the elfs homeland n thats why he leaves the land. i no it sounds farfeched but hey anything could happen rite?

message 240: by Joseph (new)

Joseph (Thorn985) | 21 comments not a bad idea i think and thank you for getting what i said Alyssa.

message 241: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments But the elves still lives in Alegasia.

message 242: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments yea but the elves are not form alegasia. they came from over the seas n no one knows y.

message 243: by Joseph (new)

Joseph (Thorn985) | 21 comments actually i think that would be kinda like lotr(lord of the rings) but only the elves left with him.

message 244: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments That wouldn't be very original if that's what happened, yeah. What with the elves going back to their homeland and all, I mean, because LOTR did that. Wasn't it called something like Alalea?

message 245: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments ya, there are already so many connection to lotr people have been making, CP wouldn't dare make that the ending.

the one in lotr is Arda, well the big country. the elven place is Valinor, in Aman/undying lands.

message 246: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Really? Do you know any of the other connections?

Oh, ok. But wasn't the Eragon one called Alalea? Or something starting with an A.

message 247: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments oh. really? there's a place in the inheritance world called Alalea?

well, brom could be connected to gandalf.
frodo to eragon
ayra to arwen
sauron to galby
orik to gimli
durza to the witch king

same sort of, unexpected young person, entrusted to overthrow an evil king. only he can do it. blah blah, people corrupted...

message 248: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Whoa, I've never noticed that! But it totally fits. Maybe CP enjoyed LOTR when he was little or something.

message 249: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments ya, it's hard to not be live lotr.

message 250: by Dustin (new)

Dustin Thomas (Brom) | 74 comments there are alot more than that. i went online to amazon.com to get eragons guide, because our wal-mart here is gay and doesnt carry it, anyway, i found a couple other book conected to eragon n there was one on that.
