My review for The Crown: Woooow this book was so crazy! Just as amazing as all of the others. Still don't know why most people wish it stopped at The One. They are all awesome to me. The one big plot twist in this book had to be (view spoiler)[Ean and Hale being gay!!! (hide spoiler)] I so did not see that coming one little bit! And I'm so pleased that at the end (view spoiler)[she chose Erik. That was incredible. (hide spoiler)] And finding out that Lady Brice (view spoiler)[wasn't Daphne's daughter, like I'd assumed, and that she was actually Maxon's half-sister! That's crazy! (hide spoiler)] So sad to know that this is the last one in the series :( I can't wait to keep up with all of Cass's future books. I know The Siren didn't compare much, but this series was incredible.

I'm happy to see that Eadlyn is becoming less of a brat and more of an adult as her story continues. I really like Kile. I do think the people are being unfair to Eadlyn, but I've never lived in a country with a monarchy (I suppose technically you could count Canada but it doesn't feel that way) so I'm not that familiar with judgement of the royal family. It was written in a way that was vague. It's unbelievable that Eadlyn's had the capability to handle being a queen, yet it seemed she was doing a good job (we were told not shown) (hide spoiler)]

Maxon tells Eadlyn about his father hitting him and she discovers that Lady Brice is her aunt. We then get the rushed announcement of her engagement and her plans for a constitutional monarchy. This all felt really rushed and I would have liked to have seen a bit about the wedding or even a flash forward to a few years later. I am happy with the way that this series ended and I preferred this book to The Heir but I still don't think it was as good as the first three books. (hide spoiler)]

Also, I can't believe Maxon and August fought over the castse. I think there is something we are missing but I am sad that that argument made them want to move out, I liked Georgia. Also, Marid seems nice. I just hate that we are finding all of this out now.

I am starting to like Eadlyn much more, she really does have a lot of work to do and more than her father did because he had America and no siblings to take care of.

Sir Coddly was a jerk, I can't believe he really said "Are you sure your not too emotional?" The advisors really think that Illea should go to war with France over a marriage!

I wish we knew more about lady Brice because I like her a lot and I can see why Maxon kept her around for so long.

I like the ending of chapter 4 where she is sleeping with her siblings, !it is so sweet. So far I am liking the book (hide spoiler)]
