Would you guys be interested in reading a series as a group? What series and how do we split it up?

I see on the 'currently reading' that you have started three this month (or are reading the first book of three different series) so maybe continue them if all the books are out!? Is this what you meant!?

Jennifer (genoveffa) | 48 comments I am more inclined to say "no." While starting a series is a good tactic, I'm not sure I would want to be tied to 2+ books. With a series, if people like it, they can keep reading and have discovered something great. But if they don't like it, then they aren't stuck having to wade through more books. IF that were the approach, I'd do a poll on the series we have already started (as Nadia noted) and go with the ones people most want to keep reading more from .... Or wait until we have a critical mass of series to choose from.

Elisabetta (sirwatshon) | 26 comments I agree with Jennifer, we could read the first book of a series, like we're doing now with Raven Boys and Daughter of smoke and bone, and then open discussions for those who want to keep going with the series, so that it won't oblige people to commit to a series that they might not like, but at the same time doing this those who want to read the other books can discuss them freely.
