What if ? its a game

So i was inspired by that discussion about that tumblr post that hypothesized that "JKR was evil":

now i badly want to start a what if game and here's the mechanics:

1. You answer the "what if?" question posted prior to yours or at least comment on it.
2. Ask your own "what if?" question.
3. You can answer your own "what if?" question but only once in succession. Give others a chance.
4. You can include multiple questions in a single post.
4. You could include stuff/characters from other books but make sure that the question is related to HP and the wizarding world. (e.g. "What if Gandalf was the Headmaster not Dumbledore?)


Sooo, i'll ask first:
What if Hermione got sorted into Ravenclaw or Ron into Hufflepuff? Who do you think would be the best bff proxy?

Maybe Dean and Seamus, they're pretty consistent in the books and seem to be friendly with Harry.

What if Lilly and Snape had never met?

Obviously they both would have still gone to Hogwarts and been sorted into the same houses. But, Snape would have never fallen in love with Lilly, and would have never made his promise to Dumbledore to protect Harry, so Harry might have been killed his first year.

What if during the Maze Challenge in the Triwizard Tournament, Barty Crouch (Moody) had made a mistake, and Fleur or Krumm reached the portkey before Harry and Cedric?

Then they would have gone to Voldemort and probably would have gotten killed.

What would Harry's life would had been like if Lily and James weren't killed?

What would have happened if Snape had married Lily

This would be an entirely different series with a different title and possibly a different ending. Imagine the drama if Snape remained a deatheater and his kid with Lily would have had to fight him and Voldy.

How do you think would the series end if Malfoy didn't disarm Dumbledore?
