Guy or Gal...who do you like as the main character?

Okay so do you have a preference who your sleuth is? Guy or Gal? Evie Bloomfield is the main character in the Cycle Path series and I based her off my daughter, a designer in NYC who had her share of horrid bosses. I could relate. LOL.

Duffy, I like the sleuth to be a gal..I think I can understand her point of view better. =)

I can go either way, but I guess my preference would be a gal. Although, I do love the Miranda James' Cat in the Stacks series and the sleuth is a male.

I can go either way but I am loving Evie as the sleuth in this book. So based on your daughter. I can relate to some of it. It seems now that I think about it that most of the sleuths I read in the cozy mystery are girls. Interesting...
