SOLVED. Sci Fi book maybe from 80's- space ship Alien abduction? [s]

Hey maybe you guys can help me. I'm trying to recall a book I read. Don't know author or title anymore. I believe it would have been from the early to mid 80's. Scifi, I think it was dark blue in color and I think had a picture of a V-shaped space ship on the cover. The opening line was a woman looking to see if she had left her baby in the microwave. Was something about alien abductions I think. I think I remember the name was just one word. It's been bugging me lately & really would like to find it back and re-read.
