It is very wrong for a soul to behave like a coward or to fear anything except offending God, since we have an all-powerful King and a Lord so mighty that He can do everything and make all men His subjects.

Whenever the Lord told me in prayer to do one thing and my confessor said something else, the Lord would speak again and tell me to obey him. Then His Majesty would change that confessor’s mind, so that he would come back and tell me to do the opposite.
