Should I read Germaine Greer's writing?

I haven't read Greer yet, but will one day. I think you should read whatever catches your interest. Forming your own opinion rather than repeating words by others could be useful.
This has been bothering me too for a while. A lot of feminist literature considered classics are now out of date so mostly probably should be read for historical context and knowledge.
So she wrote The Female Eunuch in 1970 Australia. My 7th grade Australian history teacher handed it to me after class in 2002 and said "I think you should read this". It broke my brain. It was the first non fiction feminist literature I ever read and as such it remains important to me. I think you should read it to understand something about the history of feminist literature. Don't expect something written in the 70's to be that helpful today but there are things to be gained in regards to perspective and understanding the feminism of our mothers generation.
If you want to have an opinion on Greer, you should read her work. It's the only way to know for sure what you think.

As someone relatively new to feminist literature (but so keen to learn more), should I read Germaine Greer's books? Ive heard such mixed reviews on both main books and I am just wondering what the general consensus is here in our bookclub.
Keen to hear everyone's thoughts...
Temperance.
