You are most welcome! For me, I think the most difficult part is ending. I always start really strong and then I get indecissive about how I'm going to finish it.

I have several favorites in many different genres. I love Jodi Picoult for the deep thinking literature. EK Blair is one of my favorite dark romance authors and J. Richards is my go to BDSM erotica writer. But it always depends on my moods.

I really love the Tudor age. I may write a historical novel some day that takes place in Tudor England.

I find inspiration everywhere. I like to write tough subject matter, with a heavy dosing of reality. I find a lot of inspiration in my everyday work and I then have to put my fictional spin on things.

Jessie | 9 comments I am doing a study right now looking at author and critics favorite first lines. My question is- What is your favorite first line in a book and why do you love it?

My favorite first line comes from EK Blair's Bang "They say when you take revenge against another you lose your innocence." It packs an emotional punch and hooked me immediately. In one sentence, my attention was captured and filled with emotions.

I do! For Fated Love, I started out with a play list and ended up listening to The Weeknd Beauty Behind the Madness album on repeat

I am always writting. I'm working on my next novel which will be the first part of my Rising Pheonix duet. The first book is titled Breaking Steel and I hope to have it out by the beginning of the summer.

Andrew Bree - what's your supersecret "want to write it someday" genre?

Bree McKennedy (authorbreemck) | 9 comments Andrew wrote: "Bree - what's your supersecret "want to write it someday" genre?"

Hmmm, well if it was 'supersecret' why would I be saying it now? No , I'm kidding. I'm not sure there is anything really juicy here to tell... I've written BDSM, I have a mafia romance in progress, I want to write a spicy professor/student romance. The important thing for me to stay true to is, there needs to be an underlying moral to the story to intrigue the readers. I don't just write dirty words and hope to get a reaction. I need to write something reality based and connect to my readers. I can find a way to do that in any genre.
