Kaylin (The Re-Read Queen) (kaylin_14) I just want to be able to finish the two books I'm currently reading:
Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

I think for my first challenge, I did pretty well! :)

message 235: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments You've done great, Kaylin! Good luck with those last two.

message 236: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Two days! How is the reading going?

I finished both books that I wanted to get through, so now I'll continue with Red Rising and maybe pick up a short story or novella.

message 237: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments I've gotten a good bit further with Red Rising and I'm not as impressed as I'd hoped I would be. :/

Still about a day left (for most of us). What are you all reading now?

:( That's disappointing. Maybe it's a good thing I wasn't able to pick it up this month. O.o

I'm currently reading Magic Study. I'm close to finishing it and then I'll post my two reviews. Me too! I'm really hoping to get to it in July. But I have some library books due the first week and then I don't know where my reading muse will take me. :P

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments There are several books I've planned to get to almost every month for over a year... Need to get on that. Or find them homes (the physical ones) with people who will appreciate them more.

message 246: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Courtney wrote: "There are several books I've planned to get to almost every month for over a year... Need to get on that. Or find them homes (the physical ones) with people who will appreciate them more."

Same. I've had some books for over three years or more that I've never read and it's starting to affect what books I can buy. :(

I'd never consider giving them away but I really need to buckle down and read some of them. >.<

message 247: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments I try to read things at least once before getting rid of them. But if I don't enjoy them then I'll get rid of them. I just don't have the space.

message 248: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Courtney wrote: "I try to read things at least once before getting rid of them. But if I don't enjoy them then I'll get rid of them. I just don't have the space."

I hate getting rid of my books so much that I've sacrificed furniture. I don't have a tv or tv stand in my room anymore. Or a dresser. I used to have a bed frame but I got rid of that as well. I'm hoping to decrease the clutter in my room by about 75% so I can add in about 5 more bookshelves to fit all my books on. :P

message 249: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments I understand that! I've done a lot of rearranging for my books. I've become obsessed with one day living in a portable tiny house so that I can travel around, so I have to cut down on things that I own.

lol. That sounds like fun. I don't like being out in the open so that wouldn't work well for me. But I dream of one day living in an apartment. I like the idea of a smaller space. :)
