In the Consignment Shop Mystery Series - Reagan finds her Rescue Dog, Bruce Willis under her porch when things are going bad for her. He rescues her as much as she rescues him!

Well, my cat Cookie kept showing up on my doorstep and I kept feeding her. She was (and still is) the friendliest cat who was desperately looking for a home. We already had two cats and I was afraid to take in another, but she was insistent. We went around the neighborhood asking if she belonged to anyone. She didn't, so we took her in and she's been here for 7 years. Is that a rescue?

Yvonne, Your cat sounds like a rescue to me. =) Cookie sounds like a very sweet cat!

Yes, she is. She sleeps by my side most nights.

I must give equal share to my other cat Trudy. We found her at a local shelter. She was found having a litter of kittens in a garage. They were all adopted and she was the only one left. We adopted her and love her very much. She's kind of a rescue too :) Trudy and Cookie now love each other like sisters.

Yvonne, Such a sweet story! They both sound like wonderful cats.

They really are wonderful kitties. Both have such sweet dispositions.

We had a really lovable black cat that the kids named Lightening that we got from the adopt a pet at the pet store. They would have every Saturday cats and dogs that they had rescued for adoption. Can't believe that someone would want to abuse her. She would love to curl up with me. Glad we adopted her.

Gail, Your black cat, Lightening sounds really sweet. How long did you have her?

I got Spooky out of the parking lot supermarket. I was so afraid he’d get hit before I could get to him. Why would someone leave a kitten in a parking lot. Lord have mercy!

Having a rescue center at the pet store is such a good idea. Lightning is so lucky to have you in his life.
