((That's cool. I was just checking because I couldn't remember if that's what we had decided or not ^.^))"Red is fine with me." Daniella said and relaxed again. She glanced over the menu once more to check she was happy with her choice before looking at Zayne with a smile. "I'm ready to order if you are." She said sweetly and brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes.
Jamie bit his lip and looked at her when she asked about her family. He didn't want to upset her by talking about them. They obviously didn't take what had happened well and what they had gone through wasn't pretty but she would find out eventually. "They're doing okay now. It wasn't good right after you left though."
((Yeah that's all good, I thought we were doing that but I wasn't sure you thought so hahah))((By the way at work so I can't do long posts.))
Zayne looked back up at her when he chose a type of red to get, he nodded "yeah I'm ready." He said to her, smiling a little. He raised his hand a little for a waiter to come over and waited patiently.
Issy looked at him again, bitting her lower lip also, waiting to hear. "H-how bad?" She asked "Jamie I need to know.@ she assured him.
((No worries. Just a heads up I may fall asleep any time soon so if I suddenly disappear that's why XD ))Daniella smiled and told the waiter her order when he came over. She looked to Zayne before she put her menu back. She knew that now she had nothing to put off talking about herself so she took a deep breath and prepared herself for that as Zayne ordered.
Jamie nodded and reached to hold her hands across the table. "I checked in as often as I could but you know your family. They didn't appreciate anyone poking about in their business, even me so I tried not to be around too much." He explained first. "Your parents argued a lot and split. I think they blamed each other. At first they hated each other but they're slowly falling in love again with a little help from those around. I think they're going to get back together."
((Alright then.))Zayne gave his order to the waiter also and thanked him before he had gone df. He looked back at Daniella, smiling slightly at her
Issy looked down at the table as he told her what had happened, her parents had split, she never thought they would have. "So they didnt believe me."
Daniella looked at Zayne and raised an eyebrow at him. "So what more do you want to know about me?" She asked softly as she leaned her arms back on the table. She was enjoying this so much already and it made her worry that something was going to go wrong to ruin it all. Nothing good ever seemed to last for her. Jamie rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand. "I think they did believe you Issy but it's difficult when everyone around you says different. When everyone and everything you've ever known, trusted and believed in says one thing but there's one person that says the other it's difficult." He admitted. "Fallen were always shown as villains, it's how we learn about them as kids, it's hard to change that mindset."
"I'm not sure, I'm sure I'll learn more about you later on." He said to her and smiled a little. "Is there anything you want to know?" He asked Issy sighed then looked at him. "D-do you think that?" She asked softy, hoping he didn't. What was she meant to do? "I miss them." She said to him.
Daniella nodded. "Yeah there's one thing that's been bugging me a little." She admitted and gave him a smile. "Why did you ask me out? As a friend or a date or whatever this is but just why." She asked and looked at him curiously. Jamie raised his eyebrows. "Do I believe what?" He asked softly, still rubbing his thumb over the back of her hand as he tried to comfort her. "I know sweetheart. They miss you too." He told her honestly.
Zayne looked at her again, smiling gently "I uhh... I want to get to know you." He sad "but if like this to be a date. If you would." He said awkwardly "Do you believe were villians?" She asked "that I am?" She added and sighed, nodding a little at his last comment.
Daniella smiled back at him and then nodded slowly. "I'm more than happy for this to be a date." She said to him as her smile widened. "Okay. Thank you for answering my question." She said and brushed her hair back. Jamie hesitated. "I did at first." He told her honestly. "But I was so upset and I wasn't thinking clearly sweetheart." He justified his actions not wanting her to hate him for it. "I soon came to realise I was being an idiot however."
Wayne looked across at her, smiling some more. "Then this is a date." He said, looking up when the waiter bought over their wine. "Thank you." He said to the guy.Issa looked down a little, she felt a little lost and ashamed, her own finance at the time believed she was a 'villain'. She looked back at him when he justified his answer and actions. "I didnt do it Jamie. You have to know that." She said
Daniella smiled. She felt butterflies in her stomach and she wanted to squeal she was so excited and happy. She didn't do anything like that though, managing to compose herself. She picked up her wine and took a sip of it, trying to stop herself from just looking at Zayne. "Since this is a date now I feel like it's more appropriate for me to say this." She started as she put her glass down. "You know you're very attractive Zayne." Jamie nodded. "I do know that." He promised her. "I was so upset over losing you that I needed someone to blame but I couldn't bring myself to challenge a system I'd trusted my entire life. So it fell to you. Once I'd calm down, which took forever, I realised I was being ridiculous. There was no way you would have ever have done that."
Wayne continued to look across at her as he sipped his own wine then gently put it down, he nodded slightly as he waited for her to tell him what was on her mind. He was just so happy to be there with him that nothing else seemed to matter. "I honestly don't think about it." He said to her. "But you, you're very gorgeous, and tonight." He said. "That dress is spectacular."Issy nodded a little, she understood but it was still hard to hear, though she needed to hear it. "I thought you'd never want to see me ever again." She said to him honestly. "But i still couldnt move on from you, i had some sort of belief that you would know i hadn't don't it, but after so long i began to lose that hope." She told him.
Daniella blushed and smiled widely. "Are you secretly a fashion lover or is the dress spectacular because of how much it shows off?" She asked him teasingly. Part of the reason she had chosen that dress was because of how far the neck line dipped and it just made her feel incredibly sexy. Even though the was a first date she felt it was perfect. "I'm sorry it took so long." Jamie apologised again. "It's easy to find normal people but I never realised how difficult it would be to try find either of you two." He admitted. "Once I realised you couldn't have done it, I started to look for you but since I had to do in secret it was difficult. I'm glad I finally found you again though."
Zayne chuckled as he looked at her, admiring her for all her beauty. "Maybe its a little bit of both." He admitted, smiling sweetly at her. "I do love that dress on you though." He said to her quietly. "You look amazing." He said She nodded with another sigh, looking at him. "I love you." She said and held his hand softly. "Lets talk about something else now." She said
Daniella grinned and sipped her wine. "I'm glad you like it." She said softly. She almost made a comment about how he would like her without the dress but thought that was too far for a first date. Just because that's where her mind had gone didn't mean his had too. She put her glass down again and smiled at Zayne sweetly. "So if you still want to know more about me, and I do still want to know more about you, how about we do one of those twenty questions things?" Jamie smiled. "I love you too." He said softly and then nodded. "Okay. What would you like to talk about now?" He asked her softly as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze. He then realised they hadn't ordered their meal yet. "Actually, how about we look at the menus?" He suggested and smiled at her.
Zayne smiled at her again, nodding, his mind had indeed moved onto other things but he didnt want to say anything either, he didnt want to ruin their first official date. "20 Questions? I wouldn't know what questioned to ask." He admitted. "Im so distracted... with you're beauty." He quickly added.Issy looked at him again then her menus, she nodded. "Yeah, lets order." she said and smiled at him, reading her menu, trying to decide which to get.
Daniella rolled her eyes but was still grinning. "Why don't you try find out if I'm more than a pretty face?" She asked teasingly. "It's a bit of fun just. It also means there'll be less chance of us running out of things to talk about." She pointed out. "You can ask about anything." She told him, having no issue with sharing anything with him. Jamie looked over his menu as he tried to decide on something to eat. He still held her hand and was absently rubbing his thumb over the back of it as they sat there. "Do you want to get a bottle of wine between us?" He asked once he had decided what he was eating.
He chuckled as he looked at her, smirking a little. "Im sure i could find that out." He said to her "Maybe not today." He mentioned then thought about what questions he could ask. "You have to ask the questions too." He said to her.She looked up at him again and nodded a little and smiled. "Yes, please." She said, she finished deciding and placed her menu down. "ill get the chicken." She said as she then pointed to what she wanted.
"Of course. You ask a question and then I'll ask a question. That way it isn't just me talking." Daniella said and smiled at him. She took another drink of her wine and then lightly dabbed the corners of her lips with her napkin. "Since it was my idea you can ask your question first."Jamie nodded. "White or red?" He asked, knowing that she liked both. He waved a waiter over so that he could take their order. He glanced at the menu and then smiled over at Issy again.
He chuckled and nodded, he looked across at her while he tried to think. "Ok thats fine." He said. "Who has been the biggest influence in you're life?" He asked her.She thought about it and smile. "White." She said "Please" She asked, letting him wave the waiter over, as she looked over and around she noticed Daniella, or at least she thought she did
Daniella bit her lip as she thought about that. "Probably Issy." She said honestly. "I rarely do anything without consulting her. It's not that I'm not independent enough or anything but her opinion is really important to me." She explained softly and smiled at him while she thought about her question. Jamie smiled politely at the waiter as he came over. He ordered their wine and then his meal before looking at Issy to indicate that he was done talking so that she could order. He put his menu back and smiled happily.
Zayne looked at her, nodding a little as he listened. "You two seem very close" He said. "Have you been friends for long then?" He asked her before shaking his head. "No, sorry, you're question first." He said to her. Issy was a little distracted before he had tapped her hand, she looked at him. "sorry?" She asked then looked at the waiter. "oh ill get the..." She said and told him what she wanted.
Daniella giggled softly. "How long have you lived in the city?" She asked curiously. She had always thought this was an easy way to found out some basics about the person you were with. Jamie chuckled softly at Issy's distraction. He thanked the waiter once she had ordered and then he looked at her curiously. "What's got your attention sweetheart?" He asked her and raised his eyebrows.
He thought about it, looking at her from across the table and honestly. "Iv been in the city for about 6 months." He said. "But i used to live only about an hour or so away with my parents." He admitted, chuckling quietly.Issy looked at Jamie then glanced back over at the girl she thought was Daniella. "I th-think thats daniella... and the new guy." She said
Daniella nodded. "So do you like living in the city then?" She asked and smiled at him. "Ah. Wait. It's your question." She said as she realised she had just done the exact same thing as he had done previously. Jamie nodded. "Do you want to go over and say hi?" He asked her softly. "I can wait here." He added, not wanting to ruin Daniella's night. He understood why Daniella had been so rude when he had been in her office. Unlike Issy she had been completely humiliated in front of everyone before she fell, so he knew the reminder of her old life must be painful.
He chuckled a little looking at her, laughing at er response. "Its ok... I do, i like living in the city." He said answer the question for her. "Its good... much easier to get from place to place." He said. "So.. you and Issy, how long have you two known each other?" He asked Of course Issy has also been humiliated but not as much as Daniella had, so she too understood but knew that Daniella shouldn't have done what she did. She looked at Jamie once again, shaking her head. "No, i don't want to ruin her.. date or what ever they're on."
Daniella nodded in understanding. "We've known each other our entire lives." She told him softly. "She's my best friend. We pretty much do everything together." She said softly. It showed in her eyes just how much she loved her best friend. Jamie nodded. "Okay. If you're sure." He said softly and gave her a reassuring smile. He looked up as the waiter returned with their wine and smiled politely.
He nodded as he looked at her, smiling a little. "Well you two seem very close." He said, looking at her with another smile. "ok... you're question." He said Issy nodded at him, smiling a little. "Im sure" She said, she looked at the waiter then at Jamie again. "So umm."
"Yeah we are." Daniella said softly and smiled. "Okay..." She thought about her question. "What's your favourite song and why?" She asked and gave him a smile. Jamie nodded and held onto her hand. He waited until the waiter had left before speaking again. "I'm going to be gone all day tomorrow and most likely all night too." He told her. He didn't want to leave her but he still had a job to do.
He looked a little taken back, not too sure while he tried to think about it. "My favourite song and why?" He asked. "Umm.. i like Bastile's song These Streets.... and why? Well... i don't really know... Its just a good song." He said and chuckled. "Does that count?"Issy looked at him when he began to speak again, she breathed in before nodding with a sigh. "ok." She said softly, she knew he was there to do his job and she couldnt keep him from that.
Daniella smiled and then nodded. "That counts." She confirmed for him. "That's a good song." She commented softly. She looked away from him when the waiter brought their meal over. "I'll be back as soon as I can though." Jamie promised and gave her hand a squeeze. "Are you working tomorrow?" He asked softly. It was a Saturday tomorrow and he wasn't sure if she worked at the weekend or not.
As she commented on his choose of favourite song he was glad that she approved, maybe she liked the same sort of thing or same artist. He was going to ask just as their food arrived, zayne then looked up and thanked the guy. "Mmm it looks good huh." He commented at the food. Issy nodded again "I know you will." She said to him, she shook her head "no, we don't work weekends." She said, sighing a little "I might do something with Daniella."
Daniella nodded as they looked down at their meals. "They smell amazing too." She said softly and then looked up at Zayne with a smile. She lifted her cutlery and started to eat. "It tastes even better." She giggled softly once she had swallowed her first mouthful. Jamie nodded and smiled. "That'll be good." He said softly. "Do you two have any favourite places to go or anything that you do together?" He asked curiously. The two girls had always been closer than anyone he had ever known so he wouldn't be surprised if they both had the same sort of hobbies.
Zayne looked at her again with a soft chuckle as she mentioned to him how good it tasted. He took a big of his own food, smiling a little and nodding at her, once he had finished the piece he said. "It does, it's very good."Issy shrugged and shook her head "not really, just go shopping or we hang out at each other place." She dsid softly
Daniella continued to eat before she looked up at Zayne again. "It's your question." She reminded him and smiled as she reached over to pick up her wine glass so she could take a drink. Jamie nodded. "It'll be fun regardless though." He said and smiled at her. He looked up when their food arrived and reluctantly let go of her hand so that they could eat.
Zayne looked up from his dish and across at her "right.@ he said and thought as he ate some piece, once he finished he asked "what's you're favourite movie, and why?" Issy nodded "yeah, it is fun." She said then looked over wen they're food arrived, she smiled a little at him. "Looks good."
Daniella stopped eating and tilted her head to the side as she thought about it. "The Breakfast Club." She finally decided. "It's kind of old and I'm not a big fan of old movies in all honesty but this one's different." She started to explain. "It's a movie in which there's a character for everyone to at least partially relate to and I just personally find it so funny but also sad and I always cry at it." She realised she was beginning to babble so she shut up, a faint blush on her cheeks. Jamie nodded and smiled at Issy after he had thanked the waiter. "It does." He agreed and ate a bit. He made a noise of pleasure as he smiled at her again. "It's really good. Do you want to try a bit?" He offered. They had lived together and shared everything at one time, sharing food was almost natural for him now.
Zayne smiled a little amused as she explaine to him what the movie was about, when she blushed he chuckled a little "I glad you know what the movies about." He said and gently out his hand over hers to comfort her "I like the movie too, it's good." He said letting we know he had seen it. Issy looked at him again, she nodded when he offered her some of his. She smiled and are a bit, making a soft pleasurable noise too when it tasted good
Daniella looked up at Zayne and smiled. "It's the best movie." She said softly before glancing at their hands. She was tempted to move her hand and lace her fingers with his but she was worried that doing so might freak him out. Instead she just smiled and looked back at his face. "Perhaps we could watch it together some time." She suggested. Jamie chuckled as she tried it. "See? I told you it was good." He said and then started to eat more of it. He was starving and it felt like forever since he had last ate even though it had only been a few hours earlier. "Is yours good too?" He asked after a few moments and smiled at her.
Zayne looked at her with a slight smile, nodding "yeah, maybe we can one time." He said, smiling at her, he took his hand back unsure if she felt uncomfortable or not but he didn't wat to test it. She looked at him again. "Yes, would you like a try?" She asked him and offered him some
Daniella resisted the urge to pout when he pulled his hand away. She smiled at him before starting to eat again. She finished her meal shortly after and gently wiped her mouth off on her napkin. "That was delicious." She said and sipped at her wine. Jamie tried a bit of her meal and then nodded. "Mmm." He smiled. "That tastes almost as good as my meal." He said playfully and winked at her. "This place has great food." He complimented. "Have you been here before?"
Zayne nodded in agreement just as he finished his own plate, he too cleaned off his mouth with the napkin before sitting back in his chair "that was nice.. This is nice." He said looking across at her "you're question." He addedIssy watched and waited to see what he thought, she giggled with a little gasp as his response "how tragic." She said to him. "Umm yeah once or twice with some people from work." She said
Daniella smiled behind her wine glass. "Oh yeah. I got distracted." She admitted as she put the glass back down on the table. "Um..." She bit down on her lip as she thought about it. "What's your perfect first date?" She asked with a cheeky grin. "And don't worry if you don't describe this one." She added playfully, not wanting to pressure him into anything. Jamie chuckled and stopped eating to have a drink of his wine. He nodded in acknowledgement of what she said. "So have you tried that meal before?" He asked curiously before he went back to eating.
Zayne smiled genuinely across at her "I did too." He said then thought and chuckled "oh it's by far definitely gotta be a lunch time in a cafe with a beautiful girl that I only just met even though it wasn't classed as a first date." He said to her and smiled Issy shook her head softly, eating some more "not this before." She said
Daniella laughed and shook her head at him. "No. You've got to describe it." She told him. "Not in loads of detail but way more than that." She insisted softly. Jamie nodded and smiled at her. "That's cool." He said softly as he continued to eat.
Zayne laughed a little as he looked at her. "That was in detail." He said then smiled some more "ok ok." He said when he saw her look. "I don't know, I guess the perfect date would be taking a gorgeous girl out to a beautiful restaurant, talking about the things we like and getting to know each other. Then hopefully getting another date from it." He said honestly Issy giggled and nodded, she smiled at him even when he had some food on his mouth. "Jamie." She said and pointed to it
"What's that so difficult?" Daniella teased as she sipped her wine. She smiled at him widely. "Okay. That answer passes. Barely." She teased again softly. "Your question." Jamie looked up at Issy and frowned as she pointed at his mouth. What was she trying to tell him? He finished chewing a look of complete confusion on her face. "Uuuh..."
Zayne sighed dramatically and wiped his hand across his face "oh thank gosh." He said with a little laugh, he looked at her as he tried to think. "Right.. What would be you least favourite or worst date?" Issy giggled a little again as she looked at him. "You have something." She said and pointed again, letting him get it.
Daniella laughed softly and rolled her eyes at him. "Oh okay." She said and thought about it. "Wait. The worst date I've had or the worst date I could think of?" She asked wanting to clarify what he meant exactly. Jamie took another moment before realising what she was on about. "Oh." He blushed and wiped his mouth with the napkin before flashing her a smile. "Is that better?" He asked softly.
Zayne looked at her and shook his head "no of course. I was thinking a red.. Unless you'd like a white wine?" He said to her, not sure what she was wanting
Issy looked at him amazed, listening to all the gossip she had missed out on. "And.. How's my family?@ she asked reluctantly
