My first read (albeit through Brilliance Audio) of the Badge of Honor Series which I note is the last in the series. Unfortunately I found the novel tedious at times, and the jumping around from finish to start, moving from scenarios and plots, introduction of so many characters did not help. At times there were huge blocks of descriptive pieces that went on for far too long, and would have been better if dispersed throughout the novel.

Scott Brick narrated very well, moving smoothly amongst the characters who were easily identified. With two plots intertwined I thought the novel a bit too long. The Mexican drug cartel portrayal was plausible, however the murders in Philadelphia lacked somewhat. Glad I do not live in that state!!

Will consider starting to read from the first novel.
