I imagine I would've been reading this/these book(s) in America, on 2004/2005, but if I had to guess, I believe it was probably published in the late 90s, early 2000s, or at least the first one was.
It was about a young woman who's name was Rian, I believe, who either worked at or owned, what was referred to in the book as a New Age shop. There was another woman who hung out around the shop and did tarot card readings.
The main character lived in an apartment attached to her parent's home. I recall there being a romantic subplot of some kind with Rian seeing a man named... Scott or Scottie, maybe?
There is at least one other book attached to this one. But I think there's at least a short series of them. In another book, it is Christmas time, and there's some element of the plot that revolves around a miniature carousel or horse.
