I was really surprised to find out that Bran was Moorigan's hound. I liked the fact that when he saved Moorigan's bird he was asked to choose a reward and he said that he wanted to be a hero and have plenty of drink, fighting and women. I liked how he could teleport and heal when he does this. Also that he can speak any language. He trsnsforms into a hideous deformed body that is large and incredibly strong, if he is doused in water he shrinks back to normal.I cried when he died and wished he let Kate bring him back to life.
Bran was a very interesting character mainly due to his moral ambiguity. He did the right thing in the end though and I was also sad that he died.
I was on the fence about Bran initially but grew to like him and was saddened when he died. That may have been more because Kate started to see him as a friend and she keeps losing those who become close or befriend her. I wasn't really surprised when I learned his true identity as there seemed to be something tragic about him.
