Need Help

Hi, I'm having some trouble getting my book, The Dressmaker's Secret, updated on Goodreads.

I want to add characters; also, a poll. I tried everything I could think of to get it to work. After searching around a bit, I found this group. I saw other people posting here with similar problems, and I guess authors can't add characters and things like that? Or maybe I'm just terrible at technology, which I wouldn't doubt. At any rate, can you help me with that?
