Lauren | 4 comments Hi guys. New to the group. I'm a big lover of all things reading and would really enjoy some new material. Physical copies are easiest for me and will get read quicker as I am still a student, but any book given to review will have a review posted here on goodreads.

Warm regards,
Lauren

David King | 45 comments I cannot offer physical copies, I'm afraid, but please do take a gander at my 6 novels and see if anything seems interesting to you. To summarize, the first 2 are lesbian paranormal romance, the third is lesbian "Zorro" romance, the 4th is pirates vs. imperial conquest, the 5th is downloading human minds into computers plus horror, and the 6th is zombie/detective. So, you know, the usual boring stuff.

Annie Arcane (anniearcane) Hello Miss Lauren!
I recently published a romance novel which I would absolutely love to get your thoughts on.
https://www.anniearcane.com/book/hart...
It's a bit of a different creature and actually started off as a contribution to a fiction blog featuring disabled characters (dark erotica and wounded heroes are my personal fave!). But yep, let me know if you're interested and I shall happily email you a digital copy (my apologies for the lack of physical copies *sigh*).
Thanks so much!!
Ann

P.S. - What's your favorite genre(s) to read? :)

P.H.T. Bennet (phtbennet) | 2 comments Hi, Kara,

Thanks for the invitation!

If you like middle-grade, fantasy, adventure, or dreams, you'll love Raising Sleeping Stones
Raising Sleeping Stones by P.H.T. Bennet

You can see a trailer here: www.raisingstones.com
And a complete media kit w links to the pub and pdf here: bit.ly/MediaKit2

Like every kid in Solasenda,11-year-old Kiva Stone hasbeen far too busy training for one of the five town guilds to think about something as useless as dreaming. But when she and her sister DeeDee uncover a mysterious plot to get rid of them, their only hope lies with a shadowy group of people who get unimaginable powers from their dreams. As the girls escape with them up the river, they start learning secret dreaming techniques that have been forbidden for centuries. But how can they learn enough to stand against the enemies chasing them? The answer lies in the shattered history of Orora Crona, the lost Valley of Dreams, and whoever can piece it together first will rule for centuries to come.

Whatever you choose, happy reading,
Pratt

message 15: by Thaddeus (new)

Thaddeus White | 6 comments Hey Lauren, if you like comedy-fantasy* do consider The Adventures of Sir Edric, by me.

Came out at the back end of March, and follows the assorted shenanigans of Sir Edric, a thoroughly disreputable (and mostly drunk) knight, and his heroic but pathologically loyal manservant Dog. The book contains two stories; in the first Sir Edric must retrieve stolen royal treasures on a mission that sees him risk highly probable death; in the second the knight has to pay off an enormous bounty on his head before the hunters can catch up to him.

*Emphasis on the comedy, one of my beta-readers tends to dislike fantasy generally but very much enjoys this approach.

Whether you decide to give it a crack or not, being so open to reviewing books is greatly appreciated. Hope you enjoy what you read :)

Hi Lauren,

I am looking for book reviewers to review 2 of my eBooks, Big and Small in the Mirror, and The Magic Leaf.

Big and Small in the Mirror is about bullying that happens in the school environment. The two main characters, Carlo and Marco, learn the effects of bullying on their self-images and how positive relationships help them grow. The book is appropriate for children between 8-10 years old.

I provide discussion questions at the end of the book to help parents and teachers facilitate a discussion about bullying, and to put the story in perspective.

The Magic Leaf is about a small-town boy who learns the value of friendship. The appropriate reading age would be 6-8.

If you decide to review one or both of the eBooks, I will send a gift eBook/eBooks to you. Both eBooks are on Amazon and in the iBooks Store, so you can choose a Kindle or ePub copy.

Thanks,
Mary

Virginia Arthur | 24 comments First of all, there are 21 pages under "Authors" and I looked at every one, many of which have not had any activity for years. Then there are those that expanded so quickly, they outgrew GRds and they are off on their own. I imagine this group will be in the latter category eventually but until it is--thank you for this opportunity.

No one can quite figure out what genre my books belong in. Birdbrain is eco-literary fiction but has also been placed in coming-of-age, contemporary, environmental, political, commentary, science, sociological, women's, romance, western travel...so have at it. It is my first novel and was accidental...heavily influenced by that "cantankerous bstd" Ed Abbey. Also includes references to rock and roll music of the era. Book is edgy. Has generated some controversy (good!). Includes cussing. No explicit sex.

My second novel is short literary fiction on the opposite side of the spectrum--"men's fiction". Coming of age. Also includes travel and references to rock and roll of the time. Edgy. Cussing. Struggle. Influence: J.D. Salinger.

I welcome reviews. Both available as e-books. Will send free hard copies of Birdbrain at your request. Phat's is ebook only. Will gift either but am very grateful for a purchase since this ups our rankings. Links are below and thank you again for this site and opportunity. It is appreciated.

Kate Everward (kate_everward) | 3 comments Hi everyone,
My sister's (A. Claire Everward) debut novel is free today (June 26th) on Amazon and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce it and invite you to read it and review.

It's a suspense novel with a touch of fantasy. Right now it's in e-book form and I can also send you a PDF but in about a month we'll also have a print version, so if you prefer that just send me an address.

Oh and if you're wondering why I'm here and not my sister, that's because we're a sister team. She's the author and I'm her publisher/publicist/little sister :)

So here's a bit of information for you:

The First by A. Claire Everward THE FIRST

https://amzn.com/B01DYF7I6G

Find Her.
Is the ancient directive that has once again reawakened in the hearts of those who hide.
Kill Her!
Is the frantic command of those who fear their rise.
Aelia returns from a vacation that did not go quite as she expected, to a life she does not quite feel at home in but that is, at least, hers. Or so she thinks. Within days of returning she is targeted by a hit man and she has no idea why.
But then neither does he. All Kyle Rhys knows is that to protect humanity, this woman must die. At least, he thinks, killing her will be easy. After all, the organization that has raised him has prepared him for her death his entire life.
So why can’t he kill her?
In an impossible turn of events, both killer and target find themselves on the run from those who would stop at nothing to destroy them, to those who hold a truth that would overturn their entire world, taking their very identities from them forever.

If you have any question please feel free to ask :)
Kate

Joseph (josephjmiccolis) Hello All:

I am a debut author of a Kindle formatted novel that is the introduction to the Dagmarth series. This series focuses on fantasy and magic taken to a galactic level with modern entertainment. The series is inspired by Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek.

The introduction novel is entitled “Dagmarth: Escape from Palmar” which begins the journey about a new prophecy that foretells a young boy who will acquire a diamond cursed with ancient powers that can help restore lasting peace among the galaxies, or rule them all.

I wrote this novel between the summers of 2014 to 2015, and edited it up to this recent June. I self-published this work on Amazon at the price of $2.99. I did select a free promotional price for Kindle Unlimited Subscribers and a free borrow for Amazon Prime members until July 11.

My current goal is receiving positive, honest reviews for my book with hope of attracting more readers beyond the three customer reviews so far as well as eventually agreeing to representation.

I welcome your interest to read and review it, blog it, and even refer it to a representative of interest.

I appreciate your time and attention to my post. I welcome your reply here or on Facebook!

Thanks,
Joseph J. Miccolis

Benita Thompson (benitajthompsonauthor) | 4 comments Hi Lauren! Would you be interested in an epic fantasy novel, Seascape? Unfortunately I can only do e-review copies right now, but I would be happy to provide a PDF, epub, or mobi file.

Full synopsis:

When faced with the unthinkable and the impossible, choose the impossible.

All that fifteen-year-old Einur Landman has left in the world are his flock of sheep and his beloved little sister. The entire purpose of his life is to keep Lody safe from the Illyrië. But what he never expected was that it would be his own name that was drawn for the child sacrifice. Leaving Lody with his promise to return, Einur escapes into the wild where he meets a stranger who outlines a way to bring down the Illyrië. Forced to choose between the unthinkable – Lody’s probably death – and the seemingly impossible, Einur takes the latter.

In his quest from his mountain village, through countless dangers, to the sea itself, everything Einur believes will be tested. For Lody’s sake, can he make a final crucial choice and stand firm to the end?

My email is benitajprins@gmail.com.

Thanks for your offer, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Lauren,

I am looking for book reviewers to review 2 of my eBooks, Big and Small in the Mirror, and The Magic Leaf. I have a 3rd book, Humanitarians, Visionaries, Heroes, and You, which is available in print only.

It has beautiful illustrations.

Humanitarians, Visionaries, Heroes, and You is a collection of 7 inspiring mini-biographies and my own reflections, intended to encourage the reader to join a growing movement towards social responsibility and global citizenship. This book is for an older audience (10 – 12+). It is sold on my website and Amazon.ca.

If you decide to review one or both of the eBooks, I will send a gift eBook/s to you. Both eBooks are on Amazon and in the iBooks Store, so you can choose a Kindle or ePub copy.
