Spring Into Horror Read-a-Thon 2016

I try to take part in as many of Michelle's challenges as possible. This year I will hope to read 6 books even though I have been in a bit of a reading slump lately. The reason I am that optimistic about reading 6 books is that I will also take part in Dewey's Read-a-Thon which is the last weekend of Michelle's challenge.

I will try to make a list of books to read before the start of the challenge.

Michelle Stockard Miller (michelleamiller) | 23 comments I joined the group so I could comment. :) Hope you don't mind. This is a great idea, by the way.

Glad to have you with us for another read-a-thon. Good luck with your list. You have some great books lined up.

Jane | 1438 comments Update:

Monday 4/18-16:
Read Coraline by Neil Gaiman as planned. I didn't like it as much as his other books I have read but I still like this very dark magical world that is created.

Tuesday 4/19-16:
I didn't plan to read overnight but I brought Obsidian Eyes by A.W. Exley to bed with me, just to read the first few chapters before going to sleep. Four hours later I had finished the book! Worst thing about the book is that it seems the author wants to make it a series which I didn't realise when I started the book. Luckily it doesn't as such end in a cliffhanger but there are lots of unanswered questions.

Wednesday 4/20-16:
I did actually mean to read a short book today but instead I have listened to one. Tiger's Eye by Barbra Annino
Even though I have a very long list of books that I need to read, it is very typically of me to read books that are not on my list like this one.

Thursday 4/21-16:
I have not had time to sit down and read today but I have been out for a walk and stuck in my car which means I managed to listen to 230 pages of Emerald Isle by Barbra Annino.

Friday 4/22-16:
Didn't start a new book today but I did manage to finish listening to the last 94 pages of Emerald Isle by Barbra Annino.

Saturday 4/23-16:
Dewey's RaT has started and I expect to read quite a few books as a lot of my books are just over or under 200 pages.
Started the RaT with Magic of Thieves by C. Greenwood.
Next: Dead Chaos by April Brookshire
And the last book of the day for me: Skyggeporten by Lene Kaaberbøl
As it is now midnight with me, I will go to bed for around 6 hours and then continue my reading.

Sunday 4/24-16:
Dewey's RaT continued today and in total I finished another 3 books today. Two and a bit during the RaT and the rest of the third after it finished.
A Diamond In My Pocket by Lorena Angell
Crystal Magic by Madeline Freeman
Z-WORLD by B.V. Larson

Spring Into Horror Read-a-Thon 2016

The week is now over and I have read a few more books this week than expected. Monday to Friday I read 4 books and two of these were audio books.
Then the weekend was Dewey's Read-a-Thon and I managed to read 6 over the weekend.

This makes the total of books read 10 and that is 2288 pages.
