I certainly enjoyed the book, it filled in a number of details for me, since I was quite young at the time of the Gemini missions and early Apollo work.
Thank you and enjoy!

If you still have a code available I would love to review it. Manned space flight is one of my favorite! My email is klhchan@gmail.com
By the way, is the book related to the documentary of the same name? The release dates are similar but I can't find any reference in either product description about the other.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to post reviews, they are greatly appreciated!
Curious if anyone has seen photos of any proposed lunar/Mars landers for the upcoming Orion missions?
BTW - I have about 5 promo codes remaining for "In the Shadow of the Moon".
Thank you!
Gary

The book features interesting stories about the team members that flew the Gemini and Apollo space missions up to and including Apollo 11. It also devotes 2 chapters to the Soviet attempts to race us to the moon, the spacecraft they designed, issues they encountered and some insight into the lives of a few of the Soviet Cosmonauts.

Also, I've begun devoting my blog to discussing those Apollo trips to the moon. During a few visits to Cape Canaveral's visitor center, I spoke with several visitors and found many knew very little about the missions, the equipment used, how it was used and for that matter where we had gone. Yes, some thought we had landed on Mars or Jupiter.
I hope to update the blog, once a week, with interesting information about the missions. My hope is you will visit my site, bookmark it as a favorite and share the site with others.

Thank you in advance!
