This is where we are going to talk about the April Readathon.
Please feel free to post your TBR if you are going to participate, as well as updates for when you finish a book, or when a new one is started!
Here are the challenges:
1. Reread a book you enjoyed previously
2. Pick up a book soley because of its cover
3. Red a new-to-you author
4. Pick a novel with a one word title
5. Read a book that's been on your TBR for over a month
Again, the challenges are completely optional and one book can count for two challenges!

Kat I just finished my first book!!! Yay! I don't think I'm going to do the challenge, because I'm terrible at planning what I'm going to read next. But I'm still excited to see how many books I can read in two weeks!

I liked my book; I've read before, like ten times (not very recently though), but it was still really good!

Josephine (Jetmogah) | 3 comments Hmmmm. I would try re read a book I have read before but I just don't have the self discipline to finish it like I would for the the first time without skipping the pages but then, I am starting from number 2.
2.Currently reading I am God by Giorgio faletti. Currently on page 141.
3. Giorgio faletti is a new to me author

Would update you as I progresses and would make my number 1, the last. I hope y'all enjoying this cos irrespective of it being my first time partaking in this kind of challenge, I am loving it.
I therefore encourage you to try too. Not everyone would finish it but everyone could attempt 0.5 of just 1

It's a very hot day right now in Benin city, Nigeria but this book am on is "hotter" than the weather, thanks for challenging me to try a new author.

I'm looking forward to y'all update
have a wonderful readathon day

I finally finished a book! I finished a Darker Shade of Magic, and of course, loved it! This book is definitely one of my favorites, and I'm super pumped to read the next one.
P.s. I may or may not be in love with Kell....

Josephine (Jetmogah) | 3 comments I finished a book. I am God by Giorgio Faletti.
Would be reading vanished by Danielle steel for 4

message 11: by Abi (new)

Abi (booksa144) I finished 3 (Hush, Hush) and 4 (Starlight)! I LOVED Starlight! Hush, Hush slightly reminded me of the Fallen series, but not too much. I went on to read the next book, Crescendo, and am in the middle of Silence. However the books are a little ehhish, I'm not loving them.

message 12: by Grace Meredith (new)

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) I'm just going to try and read a lot this month, but I've been sick, so it doesn't really help... but this is an amazing idea!

message 13: by Abi (new)

Abi (booksa144) I finished Born of llusion.

Hello everyone! This Readathon is officially closed! Thank you so much for participating! Many of you have completed more books than I was able, but here is the few amount I was able to finish!
1. A Darker Shade of Magic
2. A Gathering of Shadows (I only have like 30 pages left so I'm counting it)

How did your reading week go? Let me know as well as if we should do more read-a-thons!
Thanks for being awesome!
Alli

I hope you feel better! Sickness can really halt reading and I know how you feel. And thank you so much for your comment! I plan on doing future readathons that, hopefully, you will feel better for!

message 16: by Abi (new)

Abi (booksa144) I finished:
1. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
2. Born of Illusion
3. Hush, Hush

I didn't get to 5, The Last Battle.

It would be nice to do more readathons. :)
