message 1: by Fred (new)

Fred | 8 comments I went into my author site to fill out my bio, etc., and when I tried to save, it took me to another author's site with the same name and said I couldn't change the info. I just wrote my first book, THE UGLY TEAPOT, and Librarian Paula separated it from the other Fred Holmes's books yesterday, but for some reason my author page is linked to him. Help!

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments If this is you, then you should be able to edit the profile.

If you cannot then you need to contact GR Support as Librarians do not have any editing rights to claimed profiles.

Kenny Miller (kenny4ideas) | 2 comments I have the same problem. There are two Kenny Millers. I am the Kenny R Miller. The Hollywood Kenny is not me. His books, "cooks America," "Cajun cooking" "Teenage..." and "Hollywood..." should not be part of my listing.

I should also be showing "The Africa Bomb" which is ASIN: B00DT277TS

Thanks!

Moved four books from your profile.

Please don't use the librarian notes to ask a librarian. These don't work that way and are only intended for extra information that is relevant to librarians.

Can you confirm that The Co-pilot, The Africa Bomb and The Last Flight of Kilo Mike are all different versions of the same book?
The Co-pilot and The Africa Bomb share the same ASIN.

GR does not delete books that are no longer available.
Please see https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/2... and https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3...
Different editions of the same book, even when the title is changed, should be combined.

Kenny Miller (kenny4ideas) | 2 comments The three books are different versions of the same book. Heart is the kindle version of A Visit to Hartington.

Combined the editions.

If you want to choose which edition is showing on your author page, you can follow this instruction: How to set the default edition.
