Jordan Julio Jap (jordanjuliojapgoodreadscom) | 14 comments I read the book ghost stories that is retold by Rosemary Border, it is a fantasy and horror book and the book consist of 6 scary stories but I recommend this book for adults who likes ghost stories so much because the second story that they tell is scary and if it happens in this world I would be shock. In this book there is a ghost of a cruel person who takes pleasure in death, a ghost who died in a horrible accident in a game, a kind ghost that wants to help people but instead puts them in danger, a ghost who wants to make people live calm, happy lives, the ghost of a murderer who wants to find peace and many ghost that repeats the journey that took them dead. Even though it is a scary book, I still find this book enjoyable and mysterious. If I will rate this book I will rate this book 4 star for the horror and the fantasy.

Elaine | 31 comments Little House in the Big Woods, from the series of Laura Ingalls Wilder

The series of Laura Ingalls Wilder written by herself focuses on the various events of her younger days. And Little House in the Big Woods depicts a little girl who lived in the big woods of Wisconsin in a little house made out of nothing but logs. Laura has two siblings, Mary the oldest and Carrie the baby, since Mary had blonde hair and was well-mannered while Laura was a brunette and was tomboyish Laura had always envied Mary. Laura's family were very poor thus they had some limitations and had to suffice with their decent-enough living style. Everyday Laura would play with her doll,Susan (sadly Susan was just a corncob) together with Mary who had a neatly dressed doll. Christmas times were the best for Laura as she got presents and was able to celebrate with her family on the other hand, winters were the worst as her family needed to be as thrifty as possible and Laura was not able to run around the green ground in winters. As Laura matures she faces many heartbreaking and wonderful things which happened to her. Laura was able to deliver her story in such a mesmerizing way such that I felt the need to experience what she had experienced especially in Laura's story everyday was filled with new adventures. I really enjoy reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder series so I rate this book 5/5
