Characters first. Name age and appearance so we Luke start faster?
Vee walked down the hallways gripping her books in her arms. She was dressed in a white lose shirt, denim jeans, black stockings that hid her scars, black boots and a Aztec cardigan. Her white hair was in a messy bun. Vee didn't try to dress up. She gave up years ago. There was no point. Everyone made fun of her, no mater what she tried. Since this was a small town there wasn't much students in this school, and lucky for her all of the girls were girly. She wasn't, and she dyed her hair because she thought it would be nice. Except everything went down hill after that. She stayed close to the lockers to stay out of everyone's way. But even as she passed them she was still shoved or called a freak. That's what her name is now. Freak. She kept her gaze down, trying to ignore everyone. But it hurt her, and she knew it. Especially after what happened at the Halloween dance. She would never speak of it. I hate this school... I hate my life, she miserably thought to herself. Just by looking at her anyone could see the pain in her eyes, the fear from people.
Matthew was talking to a group of populars when all of a sudden he grabbed at his ears in pain. It was because he felt genuine suffering and anguish. Matthew bit his lips, and seeing the crowd of jocks look confused he smiles softly. "I have ringing in the ears. It gets bad sometimes." Matthew lied through his teeth, but the group believed it wholeheartedly. He listened for the pain and followed it down the hall. Matt sped up until the pain couldnt be any louder, any more intense. He bjt his lip and it started to bleed as he tried to mask that he could feel the same pain. Matt tapped Vee's shoulder and smiled brightly. "Hey, Im new here. Im matt."
Vee stopped by her locker. She opened it up and exchanged the books she needed for the first four class with the ones she would need after lunch. Standing straight up again, Vee felt a tap on her shoulder. Of course she flinched and prepared herself for a shove from behind and into her locker. But that was it. Just a tap. She heard a voice and turned around, her hear beat picking up with fear. Another prank! she immediately thought. It had to be. Why else will this new kid be so nice. No one was nice. She backed away from him, keeping her distance, and closed her locker. She only looked up once to hold his gaze, but even that she feared. So she looked away, at anything but him. "I'm sorry but you have the wrong person," she whispered to him and closed her locker. She turned around and started to walk away, not even bothering to hear his reply. Their probably going to use him to hurt me since he's new, she said to herself.
Matthew couldnt let her still be in pain. For one she was a beautiful girl and he would love to date her, and for another he would fail every class with the constant loud and painful echoes of her mind screaming at his own. "Would you want to come over and go swimming? I have a pool and it wouldnt be a party at all. Just you me anf whoever you want to invite." Matthew, bejng able to read her mind used subtle visual and auditory cues to make her know he was telling the truth
Vee kept walking and walking, moving through the crowd. lair... He has to be. They all are. It's a prank Vee. He wants to prank me. Vee felt like she should trust me, but she had horrible trusting issues that even he wouldn't be able to make a difference. Nothing could change the way she was. Just a depressed lonely girl wishes she was dead. "Just leave me alone." She said to him, not bothering to look back at him or glance over her shoulder to see if he was still behind her. "I know what your up to, and tell make I won't fall for it again." She said to him and turned into another hallway. She hated Jake. He was the most popular person in this school, and he was the person that really damaged her.
Matt bit his lip and still gave chase. "I hate Jake too." He whispered under his breath, knowing she had antimosity to him. "I know what he did to you and he's just a massive douche." Matt said waiting for a response. He knew from listening to peoples minds ar school that no one called Jake names, and it was almost a death sentance

Vee stopped when he said that. How does he know? She turned around, keeping her distance because she fears being close to people, especially boys. They were heartless and cruel. He hated Jake? Why? Everyone thought josh was cool. Everyone wanted to be his friend. "Listen." She said to him, trying her best to not cry. "I don't know you, and I don't want to. Your just like the others. You may think you know what happened to me, but you don't." Vee tried her best to seem brave. She was trying her best. But she was struggling. "Look everyone!" Shouted one of the jocks. "Vee thinks she has a chance with Matt." The people in the hallway laughed as they watched.
Matt's constant biting on his lip finally drew blood as the jock made the comment. "Shut up Alex, I've been here ten minutes and can already tell you're attracted to Jake and you've been weirding him out because of it." Matt stated flatly, these were awful people and the only security they have- had was their secrets. If they didn't back off Vee he was going to reveal every single one of them. Matt turned back to Vee, "I know he tricked you into going to the homecoming dance and then laughed at you. And I dont care what the school thinks of me, I just want you to know you're not alone anymore."
"Stop..." She said. She took a step back and than another. "Just stop lying" tears appeared in her eyes. She glanced at Alex, who actually looked shocked by what Matt said, and figured that this was all an act. They were all acting. They told Matt her story so he could act as the nice guy. "Leave me alone." She whispered before turning and rushing away. She passes laughing students and turns the corner, not knowing if anyone was following her. She pushed open the bathroom door, knowing that was the only place Matt wouldn't follow her in. Just then the bell rang and from inside the hallways she could hear that students were entering class. She went into a stall and locked herself in. Now alone she broke into tears.
Matt closed his eyes, he could hear every thought and emotion she experienced. It was torture. He walked quickly to first period, dodging the glances people gave him as he walked away. A particularly shocked Alex stood dumbfounded as Jake looked at him weird. Although Matt wanted to help her, perhaps she didnt want it. Even though he could read peoples minds it didnt mean he had the right to use the information he found

Vee walked into the cafeteria dressed in an orangish brown sweater, black skinny jeans that were ripped at her knees and black boots. Her white hair was in a messy bun like last time. She had her books in her arms and headed for her usual table, the one at the corner. She didn't eat. She stopped eating, just barely eating things to keep her at less alive. She was insecure about herself. But you couldn't blame her. After everything she's been through she had to be. She went and sat at the table, placing her books down. For the past three days it seemed like that Matt kid wasn't interested in bothering her anymore, and she was actually glad about that. She sat down, feeling a paper ball hit her back from a near by table, but acted as it didn't happen. But it did, it always did. She just pulled on her earbuds and played music from her playlist. She then pulled her sketch book out and placed it before her to start sketching something. She doesn't let anyone see her sketch book because all her feelings and pain were in there.
Matthew was wearing jeans and a hoodie like almost always. He glanced at her across the lunchroom and got up, walking over to her and sat across from her. Matt made motions for her to take out her earbuds
Vee was focused on her sketch, taking her time with details. She didn't notice Matt join her until he was trying to get attention and tell her to take off her earbuds. She quickly closed her sketch book so he wouldn't see what she was drawing. What does he want? Why can't he leave me alone? Vee hesitatingly took off her earbuds. She didn't want to take to him. She didn't want him hear. In fact he could see the fear in her just because he was sitting here. Yet, she waited to see what he would say.
"Im not who you think I am. Im the weirdest person here but no one knows it. I just want you to trust me so I can trust you with what it is, because out of everyone here youre the most trustworthy. How can I get you to trust me?"
Vee listened to him as he asked for her trust. She glanced at him a few times. She looked down to the cover of her sketch book in the end and thought of his questions. Why was he doing this? Why couldn't he understand she didn't want him or his help. "Nothing... Nothing you do will make me trust you..." She said softly. What is he even talking about. He's not weird. He's perfectly fine. He's very handsome and blends in with everyone. So what is he talking about? Vee didn't want for him to say anything. She stood up and started to gather her stuff. She allowed him to say what he wanted and she answered. She knew he wasn't going to leave easily so she'll just leave. "You should probably go back to your friends before they say something." She tells him and then walks away.
"I can read peoples thoughts." Matt says softly so only she could hear. "Like how I know you just complimented me on how handsome i am and how im perfectly fine. But im not."
Vee froze behind him when she heard him. Did he really just say that? If he would have said that he can read mind, she would have said he was crazy, but he gave her proof. She did think what he said. So it had to be true? How? She was so confused, and actually feared him more. She started think of how he could do that but stopped. No... He'll hear me, she said to herself. She turned around and faced him now. "What do you want from me?" She asked him.
"You to know Im not a jock wanting to hurt or abuse you." Matt bit his lip, trying to think of what to say. "I want you to be happy and to have someone you can trust without fear of them betraying you. I want to be that person." Matt looked down. "If that's weird or creepy im sorry."
No, Vee didn't know if he was a jock that didn't want to hurt or abuse her, because everyone to her was trying to abuse her. That's how it's been. Every girl in this cool wore pink and twirled their hair as they giggled. Vee wasn't like that. She didn't wear pink. She didn't twirl her hair. She didn't giggle. She didn't find it creepy or weird. She found it frightening. "I don't need you... I don't need your help... J-just stay away.." She said to him. Vee decided to leave. She quickly turned around, but before she could walk she bumped into Brittany, who was waiting for her to turn so she can accidentally spill her tray on her. Chocolate milk, today's pizza, and applesauce spilled on her. The chocolate milk spilled down her shirt, and the pizza leaving a big red stain on her shirt, and the applesauce leaving spots of yellow muck. "Oops," said Brittany and people around them started to laugh. Tears appeared but she quickly rushed out of the cafeteria.
Matt glared and walked by Brittany, "Nice pushup bra." He commented knowing it was true. He chased after Vee wanting to help. He saw her in the hall and paused, she was already running away from him, did he want to chase her when she wanted to have nothing to do with him?
"Huh!" Brittany covered her chest and quickly walked away. "Their real!" She shouted over her shoulder. Vee was now in the hallway, looking for the nearest bathroom. She tried to stay quite, she couldn't hold in her tears. She didn't know Matt was following her. She looked from side to side, looking for a bathroom. But she wasn't think clear, and it was taking her time to remember. I hate this place! I them! Why can't they leave me alone. What did I ever do to them. God if only I died. But I failed at that. I'm such a failure. A freak! Vee cried to herself and turned the corner to enter another hall.
Matthew ran to her, crying honestly. "Vee." He called out. He wasnt crying out of empathy, but her emotions were so strong he was being forced to mimick her reactions. "Do you want me to tell you what Im thinking? Since I can read your thoughts??"
Vee heard Matt. She looked over her shoulder to see him following her. She heard him and immediately said "no... I don't want to know..." She cried. She faced forward. "You don't understand what's going on. Your just a guy that can easily get what you want" she said and kept moving away. At this point she wasn't even looking for a bathroom. She was just trying to get away from him.
"I want you to be happy." Matt tried, but saw that she didn't want his help. "Just forget i tried." Matt headed for the door and left school
Vee heard him, but didn't say anything. She didn't care if he wanted her happy. It was all a lie. Everything was a lie. She heard his last words about giving up before she found the bathroom and went in to clean herself. But as soon as she was alone, she broke down. She couldn't hold it in anymore. ((Time skip to the next day?))
(Yeah) Matt stayed at home, packing his bags. Once again he was moving to keep himself safe, only this time jt was from himself. He had fallen for this girl and her being upsey coupled with his rejection made it torture for him, and Matt couldnt do it anymore
Yo guess what happened? Alex texted Matt to tell him the news.
heard Vees in the hospital. How pathetic. Lmao idk what you said to the girl but it must have been a good one

Matt got on his motorcycle and drove to the hospital looking for Vee. After two hospitals he found the one he wad looking for and knocked on her hotel room door, holding flowers
Vee was laying on the bed. She was asleep. Her father was at work and her mother had just left to get herself coffee since she's been with her daughter all night. She had passed out in the bathroom after having a panic attic and was found by one of the teachers. The doctors kept her over night to nourish her back to health since she wasn't doing well too. No one was in the room but Vee, but she was asleep. The door was unlocked though.
Matt walked in, putting the flowers on her nightsta d. In the note was a USB drive full of every secret of everyone in the school, including the fact that the people who picked on her were just jealous. Matthew walked to the hospital room door
Vee heard steps, and always being anxious, she woke from her sleep. Her eyes slowly opened and looked around the bright room. "W-where am i?" She whispered softly. Her gaze then fell on Matthew. Matt? What is he doing here? What am I doing here? She thought to herself. She looked down to herself, seeing she was in a hospital gown. A blanket was only to her waist, meaning her arms were exposed, so her scars were too. She quickly pulled the blanket over her and covered her arms. "What am I doing here?" She asked.
Matt froze, not expecting her to talk to him. "You passed out yesterday and you got admitted to the hospital. I came to see if you were ok."
Vee listened to him. Passed out? She thought about it for a moment and everything came to her. She had entered the bathroom and took a few steps before falling and hitting her head. She looked down to her lap. How did he find out? Why did he come to check on me?
Matt chose to not listen to her thoughts, blocking them out as best as hd could. "I was just about to skip town when i heard about it. I left you get well soon present. On that USB theres dirt on everyone who made fun of you at school. Also interestingly, in peoples thoughts almost everyone thought you were the prettiest at school.
Vee looked at the table next to her bed. Flowers? She noticed. She glanced back up before looking down to her lap again. Skipping town? Does he plan on leaving... Vee then remembered that he could hear her thoughts and tries to stop thinking, but that was impossible. Now she was thinking of the USB he spoke about. Did he really do that.. For me? Her gaze lifted when he said most people thought she was pretty. "No... No.. That's not true..." She dismally spoke. She had started to believe him but that all changed when he said people thought she was pretty.
"That whole deal with Jake, he really did want to go with you. Ita just the bitch got jealous of how cute you were and offered to blow him if he picked her over you. Thats what started it. You were cuter. And its always been the case."
