Default description/updating descriptions

Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and browsed for a while and didn't see anything related.

I've already updated my book description for this book at all vendors except Createspace, although it's taking a while to show up on each one. I was able to update the description of one of the editions on Goodreads and set the new description as the default. On a second edition of the book, I was able to select to use the default description with no problems. However, no matter what I do, 2 of the 4 editions (Kindle and Createspace) will not change to the default description. Is this because the new description doesn't show at those vendors yet? Or am I missing some other step?

Has nothing to do with other vendors. It may just take some time for the pages to "catch up". How long ago did you update?

Over an hour ago, maybe an hour and a half.

It can take a day or two.

There is a known problem reported in the feedback group about using the default description option. It often does not stay as the default once selected

Since there are problems with this function I just went ahead and copied the default to the two editions in question.
