? about Cassandra Palmer Series

I'm thinking about starting this series, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how many books are planned for the series? I hate starting series that aren't finished. I've googled, but I haven't been able to find anything about how many books will be in the series. Thanks!

I've read the first 4. I need to re-read them, I can't remember much about them for some reason. Not sure how many she has planned. I would see if there is a Cassandra Palmer fan group somewhere that may have attended a signing where the author said how many may be in the series.

There are 8 out right now but I can't tell if the 8th is the end. I have read the first 4 and really enjoyed them.

So far it looks as though there are 8. However there are ANY short stories in the series. I have read through 6 and found them to be average. I actually like the Dorina Basarab series more than the Cassandra one but I think you need to read the Cassandra one first to be able to follow.
