As we dive in to this conclusion of the Brazos Bend series, what's on your mind?

Obviously, we want closure about John Gabriel -- Emily left us hanging on that one! That's what I anticipate above all else. I absolutely can't wait!

Marjorie (marjorieroberts) | 18 comments I read it last week and it ties up so much - loved it!!! I hadn't read Mark's story yet so I also read and finished it over the weekend.

I'm going to dive in tomorrow. I've had three book to review in 4 days. I'm dying for more of John Gabriel. ❤️

Three BOOKS! Sheesh! I'm too tired to type!

Melinda M (researcher707) | 592 comments Mark's was a cliff hanger. I am hoping to find out how they find John and how the boys and their dad get together. It means the brothers' wives are involved very deeply. At least I hope.

Hi, ladies! All three books were fantastic - all different, and fun to read. And then I read A Callahan Carol yesterday, at last! I know it was a novella - but boy, it went by fast!

I wanted to see John's homecoming - and it was so beautiful, I wanted to hear the entire story, from before Sarajevo to his homecoming. I was so choked up when he came through the door. I found myself reading the first part of Angel's Rest again. If I had time I'd finish it today - but I have another deadline and three reviews to write by Monday.

I've cut back on some of my promotions work and stopped taking review requests temporarily, so I can be more spontaneous and read what I want to read whenever I want to read it!

I have two books to go for the Goodreads rating thing, too....but I can't say there's ever a dull reading moment around here.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and have had a little time to celebrate a Callahan Christmas...!

I loved Callahan Christmas as well & the way Emily managed to link the Callahan's to Eternity Springs, I really must reread Angels Rest. Hope everyone is having a good weekend x

I'm so happy you found time to read A Callahan Carol. It really is the link to Eternity Springs and opens up a whole new venue to many more Eternity Springs stories. I love all of the characters. It was so hard to keep quiet when everyone was talking about Branch and Celeste meeting . I am proud of my self for refraining to comment.
I did the very same thing you did when I finished the book, I re-read Angles Rest. Emily has a way of just bringing these characters to life and making you feel as if you were a part of their community. You will love Reunion Pass as well. I am saying nothing more on that subject. lol
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and find time to be good to your self.
Peace be with you

Melinda M (researcher707) | 592 comments I enjoyed A Callahan Carol. I am current with our reading. I loved the way Emily linked the two series. I am wondering if Emily may do a story with Chris Callahan.

Yes, I am hoping to write Chris Callahan's story next. He's gained the nickname of Brick in recent years. :)

Thanks , Emily. He caught my attention especially in A Callahan Carol. Looking forward to Reunion Pass. I will remember Chris's nickname is Brick. Now, I am wondering how he got that nickname but Know we will find out in his book.
Keep writing Emily, we love your stories. Try to rest a little since tomorrow is your release day for Reunion Pass.

Melinda M (researcher707) | 592 comments Ladies,

I'm guessing he got it because he's as brick-headed as the rest of the Callahan men....LOL. The leaves did NOT fall far from that tree. Poor Margaret Mary -- she must have been granted immediate sainthood on entry to heaven.

I agree Paula. The men are stubborn, and hard heads that make bricks look like sand. It makes for an interesting story the way Emily used it.
